I'm not sure why people keep congratulating the OP on good fakes (if they are indeed fake). Doesn't this encourage further spoiling of made up cards?
So black loses Zombify in 10th, and Green gets an 'any graveyard' Zombify plus a late-game body? It just seems off to me, but we'll see.
The Waver card seems complicated. Ordinarily I'd say fine, but MaRo just recently said he was pushing for simple, back-to-basics cards. Hitting the same creature with 3 Wavers is going to cause a fuss for some newer players in limited. Of course, this is an Expert Level set...
All in all, I doubt these cards, especially since the OP keeps coming back and defending them, and then when called out by a mod, decided to not defend them.
I'm not sure if there are different races of elves in Lorwyn, but as far as these ones go, they definitely match with the female on the book cover. Small, curved horns, and strange two-toed/hooved feet.
In every new set there's speculation along these lines. Maybe we'll get the fleshed out set, but I believe that this will happen once Onslaught rotates out of extended. Maybe.
The problem is, what would justify only enemy fetches flavourwise?
A "shadowfall." (New variations on the standing of the creatures of Lorwyn, maybe. A darkness has taken the land, and now the goods have turned evil to save themselves, etc)
Amazing the directions these arguments go. Whoever created this rumor must be laughing it up.
Oh, and if there's a blue mana elf, I'll be sure to play him. Whomever said blue players wouldn't play it... please trade me your foil copies if it gets printed.
I can definitely envision a wrath effect based on an effect similiar to the protection on Mistmeadow Skulk. (Mana cost will be a theme in Lorwyn, in my opinion.)
Or, of course, there is always the obvious green elven Lorwyn wrath:
I've been testing against him, and testing with him, and I haven't been impressed either way.
A second-turn troll can indeed be a nuisance, but anything after that and he's really not making me worry. I'd much rather see a troll than an ohran viper on second turn.
Anyways, that's my two cents. Today's format is not for green aggro, and troll ascetic isn't going to change that.
However, it -is- a really good card and I will inherently lose to it every once and awhile.
I don't really care what WOTC does, I'm going to play T2 regardless.
I do hope that Lorwyn doesn't have two shorter stories, though. With the way the writing is for the novels, you really need all three books to even begin giving depth to the characters. I don't want to see two 2-part stories for one block. Give me 4 novels on this Rhys character and I'll be happy.

Nath looks quite unlike these elves.

Just a thought.

2GG - Destroy all non-beautiful creatures.
After seeing some of the numbers on this thread, I bought them all with the hope she had priced them wrong.
I personally think they're all worth about a dollar. Dragon is more rare but less playable in constructed formats.

I think the card is wonderful, art-wise and mechanically. I'm excited to see evoke spanned out over the five colors.
Squee doesn't look much different, but it's still awesome to have it for such a rare, playable card.
The wastes looks beautiful in foil.
