If the "pests" reference isn't just a historical reference, I'm willing to bet that the little ink imps that we've seen in some Silverquill art are pests:

So, I find Huntmaster of the Fells to be an interesting deck construction challenge. Unlike other Werewolves, Huntmaster encourages multiple transformations. How can we maximize the number of transformations that our werewolves go through?

The typical werewolf trigger is "no spells cast" or "more than one spell cast". (Storm enablers, cast from graveyard, cantrips, etc.) We can override this with Moonmist or Waxing Moon, but let's assume that those are off the table. The "cast more than one spell" trigger seems easy to manipulate, so let's also ignore that for now.

Given that, how can we most effectively encourage the "no spells cast?" trigger? My initials thoughts are:
"End the Turn" effects, though ones that can end an opponent's turn are all blue.
"cast a spell" triggers +[%22casts%20a%20spell%22]+[damage]]that cause damage.

Roflmao. Maro said a rules change is better sooner than later. Took them
10 years late to consider this. When they should have done this right from the get go when they introduced the new card type.

I agree, and for that reason I find this really interesting. If they're making the change now I'm willing to bet that it's in preparation for something down the road. Perhaps we're going to get a "Planeswalker matters" block where redirection wouldn't be worth it? Alternatively, they may just be reacting to rules confusion coming from new players who are being introduced via the PW decks.

So, to step away from the lore discussion:

What do we think the color identity of Urza's Head will be?

I suspect that we're only getting 2 PW's in UST, and Squirrel is probably going to be mono-G. If he is, then Urza's Head is likely WUBR for color balance.

I hope that that's the case, because I feel that Urza is the only character in Magic whose personality is definitively four colors.

Additionally, what are we thinking of his abilities being? I'm willing to bet that his ult will be something along the lines of "destroy all permanents." Because killing his allies is what Urza does best. Wink

I'm leaning towards this being a wall as well. Because if it's a Human it'll probably combo hard with Moonmist.

That plains looks like it has clouds with Emrakul's lattice motif...

Hmm, interesting.. Looking back through them, the first mountain does as well sort of...

The Andreas Roche island has tentacles in the water. I *think* that there's also something up with the Jung Park forest - the trees' bark looks a bit weird, and is that an eye on the log? (I think I'm convincing myself of stuff that doesn't exist)

Those who really like land art may want to compare to the Innistrad and Avacyn Restored basic lands, which some of these reference.

Also, hi everyone! Long time skulker, first time poster.
