Wizards and any affiliated companies, organizations, stores etc need to stay out of politics. What one gamer does is not the business of a franchise and their product has nothing to do with the behavior of single people.
Wizards getting involved, this website getting involved and others continuously commenting on this and getting involved is what is destroying not just this society but even the American one with the larger more political events.
There will always be sexism and racism what people need to do is stop being hyper sensitive and stop coddling wounds and focusing on the predators. Christine Sprankle lost when she stepped out of the community. Rather than just stick up for herself publicly or take it to court and use out judicial process available she simply gave up and whined about it.
This is a far deeper issue in not just this community but society. She expects us to do things for her, defend her, and react to her "sorrow"
This is the problem. People need to learn to grow a thick skin and defend themselves appropriately.
And wizards apologizing for things like the garruk and lili art coddles this childish behavior.
We cant even have our FU**ing game bc people are too sensitive. The hyper sensitivity and need to coddle those with these ideals seeps not only inot our game but into star wars and now marvel comics with their female iron man and captain america.
Its frustrating to see these companies getting involved in these ideals rather than staying true to their fans and the game/story.
This is the same for this website. We dont care about opinions anymore. State your opinions ONCE and move on. STOP lingering on emotions and the same thing and move on. Jeremy is so guilty of this i mean his videos are 20 minutes long because he rattles on about the same shi*.
He is out of hand and offending ppl unnecessarily but on the flipside others need to stop being offended and move on. And we must all recognize that he does have a point on the leftist philosophies seeping into our games and hobbies and that is very frustrating.
I have only ever ran 1 steel overseer as it always always always gets removed no matter what which is annoying as all hell to me.
But yea at least 3 masters has always been my preference
It could be okay as a 1 of but 4 mana is a fat stretch in my opinion. Thoughtcast is just straight up better and does a pretty good job as is.

i know you mentioned no claim but its just too good not to include with myr superion in my opinion though i under stand why you said it not the best.

I like having removal rather than pump which some peoplw run and using deaths shadow and vexing devil are really good with claim/fame as well as help recur vengevines. But yea thats probably why its not as consistent as Id like.

Any advice is welcome. I thought this would be a little change to whats been posted. This deck also allows to grind with the varolz inclusion.
I had not seen hidden herbalist before this and that does change things a bit and I will begin brewing with it.
Also I have not seen Talara's battalion mentioned though maybe I missed it. I believe that card would go really well in some of your guy's lists.
I do believe that gather the pack would potentially be better than cathartic reunion. Though I have cards like collective brutality, cathartic reunion, and lotleth troll to discard any vengevines and or superions I cant cast. Discarding even burning tree emissary is fine because you can bring her back with claim and use her if you draw myr superion or battalion.
Its an interesting deck for sure and has many ways to play. My main focus at this point is to make it more consistent. And yes I know lotleth and burning tree arent exactly best buds. But lotleth has proven to be very very useful.

This deck has been pretty good much better than my old build
It has many options and many olay styles.
Claim/fame just shines as you can dump superions to lotleth and just bring them back for 1 mana
Burning tree helps cast superions as well as helps recur vengevines
Lotleth is able to be pumped and it doesnt matter much what you dump away as you can usually bring it back with claim, delve it away or bring it back to hand with grapple with the past.
Eldritch evolution is there to fetch for things if you need though i could probably put in a scooze or tarmo the deck doesnt necessarily need it i do feel adding asome utility creatures could give me the full potential of EE
Grapple with the past also shines immensely. It is far better than grisly salvage that i have been using and possibly would be even better with 1 or 2 dredgers like imp. I highly recommend this card guys.
I will post more combos and plays ive had with this deck later but id love any recomendations or advice. I know my list is different than whats been posted but it is very similar strategy.
That is a good point.
Only thing is when i build a deck i like having my foil rares not all rares but the ones whose art i like alot so yeaa its expensive

Well my reason for bringing up chalice is that it is usually played to counter 1 cmc spells and it usually stops those spells indefinitely by turn 2. However if instead of chalice tron only had MM thy would have to be smarter with how to play and bait removal and think more critically on what to counter to save their creatures. Bc From what i know chalice is mainly there to stop removal.
The fact that it can be played turn 0 doesnt mean much to me bc when a player turn 1 thoughtseizes it is pretty back breaking for some decks and I have seen turn 1 thougtseizes really hinder some decks during a game.
So why not have a way to answer. And it would be nice is both players did have MM that way they can both have the opportunity to say "hmm maybe i should use it now.."
I think that MM would actually be helpful bc if we can ALL run it i dont see why it is so powerful.
I think cards like thoughtseize and path are far more powerful because only decks in those colors can run them.
But thats just a speculation and opinion. And i will add i am not a tournament player im just a casual player but i play by modern rules and keep up with tournaments and stuff so maybe my opinion is a little on the uneducated side but i think what i am saying has some merit and truth to it
However i have not seen them being talked of in terms of a comboish package
So what do you guys think about that?

If it answers itself then that would be more fair than say a thoughseize where you cant do anything at all..
I still dont understand it. It would make for more interesting gameplay and would make you think twice before you just blatantly path a creature no questions asked.
Also wouldnt mental misstep be better then say chalice of the void. Where chalice stops you indeffinitely, mm can only stop 4 spells at best.
Hmm perhaps i have to see gameplay. But i read a tcg article where the author discusses the possibility of it being unbanned as well as how its not as terrible a choice as people think.
It would also help slow down some decks like affinity so midrange decks could have more of a chance.
I dont know..it just seems like it would pretty interesting unban though i see your guys points i think that if all decks have it then that kind of evens the field..
