The only invocation I run is Hazoret and only because it reads "Hazoret the Pervert". Otherwise I hate the look of this masterpiece series.
The inventions though, that's another story =)
I agree - this seems like a nice fit in control-ish shells. It's a great creature for attrition games. It has to be dealt with ASAP, ideally by exiling it, or it will take over the game.
Considering replacing Dragonlord Silumgar with it - it makes for more interesting decisions IMHO.
Another thought: she can attack and react to the board with her abilities. Also, her 1st ability during the opponent's end step removes a blocker for one turn. Repeat at your own end step for maximum happiness.
I have the same problem as Cythare though - what to cut?
Courser of Kruphix
Den Protector
Eternal Witness
Nissa, Vastwood Seer
Rishkar, Peema Renegade
Tireless Tracker
Yavimaya Elder
I think there is some confusion as to the Exert ability. Just to be clear, you exert as you attack, which then untaps your board and triggers a second attack phase after the current one. It doesn't matter if the creature itself survives or deals damage, the 2nd attack phase will still occur.
Makes this a much better card than if it had to connect.
I second your thoughts Mike. If there were a full cycle of Talismans I would probably try and compensate by switching Signets for Talismans, and Pains for Bicycles. However, as things stand I feel that it would take a lot of gymnastics to fit Bicycles in and still adequately support aggro and colorless matters.
In a 540 with ABUR, Shocks, Fetches, Manlands and Painlands, would you cut painlands for these (assuming the other 5 bicycle lands will be out next set)? Seems brutal to lose pains for aggro and colorless matters? The fetchability and cycling are tasty though...
A more cube-philosophy question than This or That, if that's ok =)
I'm strongly considering including Daretti 2.0 in my cube and I'm wondering at what point does a cube have critical mass to run Artifact.dec with all enablers (Daretti 1.0, Tezz Agent, Welder, etc.), especially in a non-powered context?
Indeed, Captain's Claws often wheels and is sideboarded even in decks that could want to play it. I think that's a reasonable cut - thanks, solves my problem nicely =)

This will probably replace Gisela in my 540 as she's as fragile and not as interesting.

Indeed hilarious with Kiki/Twin =) good catch!
Have you some playtest data yet regarding the 1-drop payoff cards (Examplar and Apprentice), and also for the Inspector?
Thanks!

As an example, here's my cube (heavily inspired by wtwlf123's) : http://www.cubetutor.com/viewcube/9404

I'm wondering what to cut to include Emrakul, the Promised End. I'm torn between Precursor Golem, which is awesome as I support blink shenanigans, and Blightsteel Colossus, which is a prime Tinker target. Other potential cuts from the cube could also be considered (http://www.cubetutor.com/viewcube/9404 - feel free to draft while you're at it )
Thanks!
