The parts with the entity bring up interesting implications, though overall it felt far too much like the whisperings of the chainveil. Also considering the ending what is the possibility that Tacenda upon receiving the BogEntity planeswalked away ? And if she did that brings up the fact that obtaining an entity might actually cause/force your spark to ignite ? It seems to fit considering Davriel is wary of using the entity's power and is so bent on hiding his identity from fear of being followed...so Entity Bearers might all be multiversal.
Also with Tacenda possibly ascending it finally gives me the Bard planeswalker we've been missing
Davriel Cane just wants a quiet life. Gotta say, I really enjoyed the story. Davriel's got a fun personality and his banter with the demons was pretty fun.
Sarcastic foppish napwalker was something I didn't even know I needed, but I'm really glad we've got it now. Also Sanderson once again does a really good job with all of the magic and how they function within the story.
Vraska after reporting to Bolas returns to her small abode in the undercity, the phosphorescent mushrooms proudly lighting a sultai banner hanging above the door.
Suddenly a looming figure easily three times bigger than the cabins small door contorts its insectoid body to exit, between the odd angles and the cracking popping sounds anybody less versed in the ways of the undercity would think the strange beast was in pain. But Vraska knew better,"Mazirek" she said a wry smile escaping her face."It's been a while, have you done that favour i asked of you ?". The Kraul priest clicked and hissed in response a hideous sound that reverberated of the cave walls and stalactites hidden in the darkness...although in this case, it meant simply yes.
Suddenly, the door swung open with a jolt and out slithered and ran at the same time a small Golgari Beetle hatchling, leaping its slime covered embrace into the Assasin's arms."Oh Mr Fibbles, how I've missed you ! Who's mummy's special little guy ? Huh ? You are !" Vraska all but yelled as she finally carried the dredge larvae over the threshold, to her much deserved rest
Oh damn, she is literally EVERYTHING i have ever wanted in a ninja commander and more.
Completley knocked it out of the park wizards...now hopefully we can have Verhey sprinkle a few innocuos Ninjas in over the next couple of commander sets
I feel like throwing in minus counters into the build as a small subtheme might be fun to try out
Everlasting Torment helps everybody at the table wittle away fatties overtime (while Thantis can use his + counters to mitigate them), and the fact that you can pretty easily slide in Hapatra and Scorpion God into the same deck makes things pretty funny. And of course considering basically everybodys going to have the majority of their board tapped out, throw in Skythyrix and the rest of the Jund Infect creatures.
"Choose your commander and carve your path to victory in this unique multiplayer Magic format. Call on powerful planeswalkers and deploy their signature strategies to make sure you're the last player standing."
I like the rest of the art except for Teysa's though, especially daddy Rakdos. Probably the best he's ever looked
Like she just flushed billions of dollars down the toilet furious
What did Kaya DO to the Orzhov ?
Just utterly chastising her for signing something so blatantly dubious. The shade would be delicious

Shouldn't even be called masterpieces
