Personally I'm hoping we get an expansion on the Entities and the Wielders( Their walkers ?) that have been hinted to be coming for Davriel.
They're interplanar (seemingly) and can easily be slotted into various settings, could lead to an eventual return for Tacenda and it gives us more screentime for Davriel which is by far the biggest bonus.
So with Kefnet now eternalized being able to cast lightning bolts (and have them slammed back in his face), is there a chance that he's become izzet ?
(In retrospect I suppose it could be Ral is just redirecting lightning from the area at Kefnet, but that seems like a weird flavour distinction on the card as a whole)
Card seems really good, now to hope for some lore because its really hard to pin down her flavour and characterization as is.
It seems clear to me that she's some sort of teacher/trainer.
That point still seems a tad enigmatic to me
Still though from the cards we have of her its shown that she can polymorph, She may care about wizards and apart from being a teacher she has some built in protection. Its very generic and open ended for a blue walker which makes me really interested to see what they give for an inevitable full walker card (if she isn't here to just be a red shirt that is)
No. WotC has made a conscious choice not to have firearms in MTG.
Seems hard to do a wild west world without pseudo-guns. Even if they end up looking like nerf toys, the design space is there. Equipment that grant pinging abilities of various kinds, stop untaps as a "slow reload", or allow for multiple untaps "machine gun" style, maybe a cannon vehicle.
How else would they do wild west?
Probably as spell slinging to replace gunslinging, a lot of from the hip fireballs and (hopefully) a lot of finger guns.
As for every story there are two sides and both sides are at fault to some degree.
Nahiri accuses Sorin of being the cause of the downfall of Zendikar because he imprisoned her and during her imprisonment he did't care about stopping he Eldrazi that were freed on Zendikar, thus betraying her.
Sorin accuses Nahiri of deliberately trying to murder a his homeplane after throwing a fit about the defence on Innistrad shielding the plane from the interplanar phonecall.
Both sides are right in their own accusations and their murderous rivalry embodies the narrow-mindedness of some old walkers, completely absorbed by their self importance and damn everything else.
I would put both at fault here if it wasn't for the little detail that Sorin actually sought out Ugin to solve the Eldrazi problem on Zendikar: he didn't need to as for all he knew Innistrad was safe from the menace, but he did anyway. Granted that he did it after making sure that Innistrad was ok, but would you blame him for that? The eldrazi were freed and his homeplane lost his first line of defence against them.
On the other hand, when Nahiri was released from the Helvault she rushed back to Zendikar, stayed there for 2 seconds and thought: "eye for an eye, I'm going to commit genocide because I'm angry at one person".
Both of them are at fault, but on one side Sorin tried to make things right, Nahiri just tried to kill as many people as possible just to spite a single person.
So... Who is more at fault here?
EDIT: as a final note: why the hell put a lock on the eldrazi cell? Any lock can be picked (that's exactly what happened). If you want to keep something locked forever you don't put a lock on the celldoor, you weld it shut then pour concrete over it! Ugin is an a**hole!
I mean putting a lock that (theoretically) only you could open seems about right for Ugin, especially if he's concerned about the long term damage to the multiverse by locking the interplanar beings for too long.
Anyway card seems nice, doesn't look like UR would want it but I could maybe see Merfolk or simic running it

Immediately uses Vitu Ghazi to topple the very unnatural statue

It's the little things
It's time to turn Boros into Buffros

Pew pew finger guns the set
