Sorin's just a little bit egocentric, so his Angel looks like him (dark eyes, black armor, pale face and skin, white hair). That's part of his decision as an Angel-designer, not something that speaks to her colours.
For those who keep using Vault (it's been corrupted by her absence, not generally black) and her creator (her purpose involves absolutely no Black idealogies) as evidence she's Black, then peh. But for those who use appearance, I have this for you; Angelic Overseer is an Innistradi angel, and features dark eyes, black as a minor costume theme, and black battle-armor. Yet she's very obviously White.
+1 to Avacyn being mono-white. The contrasting black just makes her look better as artwork, which is important when ~50% of your card is artwork.
I see your point now. If the Vault is corrupted it makes sense. But Angelic Overseer has A LOT of white in her clothes. The only thing white on Avacyn would be her wings, though they appear very shadowy. I am not saying she is definitely going to be some combination of black and white, all I am saying is the first thing that popped into my head is that something is wrong here. Why is she not all in white and glowing from within if this is truly her triumphant return to the plane that worships her?
Ahhhh, is it just me or does Avacyn look a little like Angel of Despair, Fallen Angel, and Selenia, Dark Angel? She has the white down, but the black clothes, eye liner, boots, and lipstick tell me she might have a dark side.
Seriously!!! Just after introducing a "new" tribe and making them at least marginally competitive they cut the keystone creature from standard. I do not get it. Keep baneslayer angel because it was popular and cut vampire nocturnus for no reason. I don't get why wizards does some of the things they do.
Stalemate. If anyone would win it becomes an auto draw.
Actually according to the game rules Can't always overrides can. Therefore if Platinum angel and abyssal persecutor are out at the same time on my side or my opponent's side no one can win. If I have the angel and my opponent has the demon then I can win the game but can't lose until both are gone. If my opponent has the angel and I have the demon then I can't win until both are gone. So that clears it right up right. Just remember can't always overrides can.
Ok, we know that bad cards exist and, no matter how lousy they initially appear, somewhere in the game there's always an octagonal hole for that octagonal peg.
So, it's not a totally lost cause but the main application of BT is going to be getting rid of stuff.
Incidently the "Trade" part of "Bazaar Trader" is totally misleading, if you get me.
And he is a goblin so flavor wise it makes sense. I wouldn't leave my store in the hands of a goblin.
I think the reason people do not like the art is because it violates our basic tenants of "traditional" vampires. The vampire in question is in the forest during the day. This goes against what we believe to be true about vampires, which is that they cannot go out during the daytime. I like the art. It conveys such an interesting contrast between life and unlife.
Thats about as far as I have gone with this deck. I like the synergy between Path to exile and Archive trap. I know most of the counters are conditional, but with my meta being 80% Jund they will work very nicely.
Yes. I have done the math! Vamps do not require fetch at all.
How about using verdant catacombs to change the top card for vampire nocturnus? Personally I like to pay one life to change the top card than pay two life, two mana, and draw 2 cards with sign in blood.
I agree, this game seems to be a MMORPG based in the Magic the Gathering universe. I can imagine it will play like Everquest instead of MtGO. I am really not looking forward to yet another game that requires a monthly fee, if that happens.
I lost to a mono white soldier deck running luminarch ascension, Honor of the pure, white knight and a bunch of other soldier spells. I beat him one game and the other two I could not find enough land to win the aggro race. I played vampires.
I think I may have to much removal. I am wondering if I should add vampire lacerators to the sideboard. Oh and my vote is for Godrick. i should use fetches, but i have spent enough money this month.

EDIT: I just realized Vault of the Archangel is Black White.

Autumn's Veil for the control match up. I really like making them burn a counterspell or going without countering.
Nature's Claim, Leyline of Sanctity enough said.
All is dust, Pyroclasm, for aggro match.
