I'm not sure I have permission to post MTG-related things here yet as I haven't been formally accepted to the guild, but I'll just lyk that I am building a Modern Bounce deck (Azorius), and modifying a Modern Lifegain/Card draw deck (Simic).
As of now I'm having trouble deciding Instants/Soerceries for the bounce deck. There are 50 ways to make a buffer! (as we all know).
Hi guys. You sound academic and scholarly! I would be honored to be a member of the Tolarian Academy!
Bit of a rebel, or some-such. Hope that's alright. We all need good inventors, right?
If you need some sort of proof of participation in the MTG community, let it be known that I frequent Games of Martinez in California, and play MTGA (usually Alchemy). I have (in MTGA) a RB Midrange/Burn deck (that I'm working on), a Simic stuff deck (that I'm working on), and something else (just one) which I forgot (and obviously can't be bothered to look up...).
IRL I play non-competitive EDH, competitive Modern (just started), and I used to play casually with my younger brother (the middle one) at home when we lived together still.
If you need any other information, feel free to ask.
Many thanks for the consideration, and no hard feelings if I am not of sufficient muster or mores.
Mike
PS: Would love to share & compare decklists, but not entirely sure how (somewhat of a beginner to competitive play :)).
Thank you, Uldakh. Kind of you to go out of your way working on my deck. I'm still looking it over. I forgot that dredge can get land into the graveyard so I made an ignorant comment earlier. Seems like a useful mechanic.
There's a card that's similar to Enigma Drake except its toughness is one less but it has Trample. I forgot what it's called. It is also a Drake, I believe?
Thanks for the deck build, Uldakh! I appreciate the work you've put into it.
Not to be too negative, but my first impressions (no offense) of this are that it's not too focused. I don't see a lot of mechanics or synergy beyond getting some creatures into the graveyard and then getting them back out to play them again. There's no mill, so it won't fill up your graveyard quicker. I might add a Millstone or something. I don't know how the lands get into the graveyard that you would need Dredge land or cards that return land from the graveyard, unless you're playing a really niche deck and the opponent is milling you (a mill deck, I guess).
I'll work on it and come up with something more refined and get back to you with my restuls.
I didn't find many hits for this card in the forums here period, so I wanted to know what the best counter graveyard recycling deck around her would be!
I wouldn't want any other non-creatures beside what is up here.
Basic mechanics would be increase odds of getting Vraska, give deathtouch creatures, of which there are many, menace so that blocking takes out two opponent creatures or else is surefire damage, and the graveyard cycling mechanics of the cards.
Anything I should be paying attention to, and what other cards would net a good deck?
Fortnite is an outlet, which doesn't require a majority of your mental capacity. If you are in a serious MTG game, your diet and sleep are factors to manage. MTG is the most complex game, that anyone with reason can play, assuming they have proper instruction. I love and hate this game equally. My current run began with an Arena starter deck combo pack for $10. The friend that bought it, isn't a true player. He's a dungeon master.

Hi Charisma! Alright if I call you CoaD? That sounds cool.
I do like FFA formats too, but I haven't had many opportunities to paly them. Once the quarantine ends and we're all vaccinated, I'm going to play at a card store in Concord, California, Commander. I have one commander deck: Orzhov life drain >=).
I like Dimir, Izzet, mono black and mono red. I don't dabble in green too much, nor white, though they are powerful. Azorius losses (playing against Azorius) can be some of the most annoying. The control is unstoppable!
Hi! I don't know if I ever posted here; in case I did, I forgot, and I'm sorry, and this will be a repost.
I played MTG casually with my brother for a few years. Then I got Arena and gotte gud atte itte, so to speak (Diamond 4 at one point). So I know Standard, Commander/EDH, and casual. And like Modern and Historic are easy enough to pick up (sort of).
So I just wanted to make some friends on here, meet new faces, and exchange thoughts on the state of the game!
I have other hobbies too: I design computer games (BeinGames Studios), and I'm currently looking for work as a technical writer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Not that that's a hobby but I was lazy to start a new sentence there. Ahhh, crude writing.

Thanks again!
Vraska, Regal Gorgon
I know a few things about this deck but haven't studied my ideas that much, yet.
I would like mostly creatures (minimal Instants/Sorceries/Enchantments/Artifacts).
I would like abilities that put creatures in play from the graveyard, or into your hand from the graveyard.
I have a few other cards that I think came with a theme deck I or my brother bought, and these include Vraska's Stoneglare, Twinblade Assassins, Undercity Uprising, Rhizome Lurcher, Golgari Findbroker, Deathless Knight, Poison-Tip Archer, Hazardous Conditions, Pitiless Gorgon, Ochran Assassin, Charnel Troll, Attendant of Vraska, Glowspore Shaman, Swarm Guildmage, Status//Statue (as a side note I don't know how to cite double-cards, so someone letting me know would be awesome--sorry for the noobishness).
I wouldn't want any other non-creatures beside what is up here.

Anyway, I think that's it. To exploring!
And nice to meet you!
