While this is not as useful after the lock Aura Thief can turn the lock around if you have him on the field and can protect him until you need him to die. Of course Cavern will help get him on the field as well. And I certainly agree that Boseiju is a good counter to the problem.
If you use Storm Cauldron make sure you use Manabond as well. You get to put all your land back on the battlefield in the end step. I have a deck that does this myself.
Nope, they are doing it they way the old pre-releases used to be, going in completely blind. As people post what they got we will see a good portion of the set by the end of Hascon. They will do spoilers for the set at the appropriate time. They meant none before the Hascon tourney.
People calling "why don't just reprint Cavern of Souls" are insane. Blue Control is already almost unplayable (despite having great cards, which is silly if you think about it), let's make all counterspells dead cards vs tribal decks (that i think will inevitably be played after rotation). No, one thousand times no, Cavern does not belong in standard, where counterspells are that bad in the first place. Unclaimed Territory is perfect card for set like this. Good job, Wizards.
I don't believe Cavern Of Souls is ever coming back to standard. Rosewater said the card has flaws in that you have to announce which ability you are using when you tap for mana and that was confusing to players, so they consider that a fail on their part. I think that may be a little too over protective of new players, but I don't work in R&D so my opinion doesn't matter.
I somehow believe Garruk will be the Star of this set like Chandra is on KLD
What would lead you to believe that?
Hello next 4 ability walker ^^
How does Garruk automatically equate to 4 abilities?
I have so many questions about your logical process.
Lately Wizards like to put 4 abilities on their planes main-character. Like Chandra & Nicol
Why i believe Garruk will be Dominarias Main-character.
Mostly my feeling ^^
But im sure we can expect him.back soon.
While I wouldn't be adverse to seeing Garruk again, your theory of him getting a 4 ability card doesn't sit right with me. After all wasn't Garruk, Apex Predator only the second planeswalker to get 4 abilities? It seems unlikely that he would be the first the get 2 such cards while there are still many planeswalkers that haven't gotten 1 such card yet.
I think slivers are definitely coming back. They're popular, Wizards likely wants a chance to correct their last implementation that screwed them up, and they were never really dealt with in any old plots.
If by screwing them up you mean the art - then yes Maro has said that WotC has heard the complaints from the players and Slivers will probably revert to their old look when next we see them.
If however, you mean that their abilities only affect your Slivers, then no, Maro has told us that all tribes work this way now and new Slivers will continue to work like all other tribes in the future. That probably means we will not see reprint Slivers as WotC doesn't like to do functional errata when reprinting cards.
Huh, weird that Dragons gets two additional commanders with Ramos and Taigam, Wizards and Cats one (Taigam and Balan) and Vampires ZERO. They should've given each deck the same amount of new commanders imo, especially since they went down to four decks because newcomers tend to play in groups of four. Isn't it just a feel-bad moment when you find out your friend got more stuff to build future decks with out of his/her pack?
Maro was asked about this on Blogatog and he replied that each deck had it's own team designing it and the number of legends that could lead the deck was determined by each team individually. There was no dictate from the lead that each deck must be symmetrical in that way. So apparently the Vampire deck folks felt their deck was good as it was.
I run Temporal Extortion in my Kokusho, the Evening Star deck. No one ever pays to counter it when my commander is taking off their life 5 at a time very quickly. In the right deck it's great.

5 Color Dragons
5 Color Angels
5 Color Slivers
5 Color Devoid Eldrazi
5 Color Artifacts with Ramos as the commander, etc.
They had options - they chose this and I'm fine with it.
