A_W seems town to me. His reversal from "lynch me for information" to now "don't lynch me, the information wouldn't do anything anyway" seems very organic and reflects a thoughtful townie (yet newb) mindset.

All the replacements make my head hurt. Can we just restart the game with the current group?

I am a town scribe. The town has an alternative win condition - if I can send a scribe's list of the true names of everyone alive to Kraj, the town wins, regardless of scum left alive. To facilitate this, I also have a name investigation ability involving the replacements. I have two different actions I can do at night - ask a faerie to investigate someone for their true name, or ask a faerie to take all my targets from the night. This is why Azrael died night 2 (2? I think 2) - I gave him a favor point to become me for targeting.
I've done anywhere from 2-3 name investigations a night, but most of my investigations have died since then. I do have the role names of some still alive, and none of the claimed role names have conflicted with my information. Not every knows their true name yet, so I cannot be positive for them.
I sent in my first list of the game to Kraj after I got the last claim I was missing. Kraj replied that the list was incorrect, so one of the players who name claimed today is lying (maybe more than one).
As for not voting - those of you who have played with me before probably notice that I don't vote a lot. I definitely vote when I see a case that I like, but I don't throw my vote around like some do (*cough kpaca*) That's just my thing, I guess. My role also took me by surprise and I spent most of my game time obsessing over how to accomplish the goal without making myself a huge target. I also thought that with potentially 3 investigations a night I would be able to out a lot of liars if and when they claim. The true name/given name interaction put a hamper in this, but I held out hope that it could pay off later.
I am willing to reveal what true name information I have, as well as my night actions for every single night (which should be confirmable by the replacements - a little has already leaked out). My only hesitancy to reveal true names comes from my own mind - I've been contemplating it for 2 game days now and am so WIFOMed inside my head that another brain or two might help me make a better decision.
Again, sorry for the long delay in this. I will definitely be around every day for the rest of this game and should have some faster responses to what is happening. This is also likely to create a huge firestorm, so that should help the activity a bit.
I am inclined to believe kpaca's claim. I am not sure of alignment, but much of the structure of his role is similar to mine, so I doubt he made it up.
I'd really like to know who you think is town because I did a little PBPA for myself. I came up with two minor details from a while ago that look pretty major now.
So @spot I'll start the name claim once you suggest two players, other than yourselves who are probably town based on what you know of their true names.

Also, I don't have everyone's name. That's why this works - the mafia don't know if they have been targeted or not. If I give you your two "town sounding" players, it may provide too much information to the mafia.
I'm curious why having a mass true name claim now eliminates this possibility. I'd also like to know what you plan on doing with people who don't know (or claim they don't know) their true names? Surely there are a couple more people out there who don't have them.

I would help expose liars. I have a lot of true name information about players, but they may not be indicative of alignment. It is also a better alternative for the town that figuring out this kpaca/greymon mudfest.
If we want to make people claim true name, well, we could do that. But I'd be happier if we all claimed without true names first then took it from there. If someone claims, like, cop that gets neutered when they claim their name or some other major penalty, I'd rather they didn't unless we all think they're scum and want them to.
If we don't force people to claim true name, then what's to stop them from just coming up with something completely random under the guise of "I don't know my true name"?
I also have quite a bit of true name knowledge gathered throughout the game - these claims can help show who is trustworthy and who is not.

No kidding. Guys, I know you want to cover every possible freakin base, but try to be a little bit more succinct. An easy way to accomplish this is not respond to every single sentence the other players say. If a point of contention arises, then its fine to start digging out individual quotes, but jumping straight to massive sentence by sentence breakdowns doesn't do anything because no one reads them.

I'm glad MoW is back, but he hasn't addressed my case on him at all. An interesting defense, to say the least.
Draknodred is back in the newb town category for me. When his posting fell off the table after his initial flurry I became pretty worried, but he defended himself well and consistently.
Wrath of Dog has piqued my interest as well. He still hasn't posted much of consequence.
Toastboy certainly came in with a bang. He is inconsistent/wishy washy on some people, and that's fine. But he hasn't really tried to actively seek out more information on his own through questioning (besides a quote war with Draknodred that seemed quite unnecessary to me). Not scummy per se, but does warrant more examination.
I wish phoenix would either replace out or come back already.

@ Spot, one last piece of info, the person I am hiding from/looking for is a witch. And I think I know why you think you know, but I am not for sure. By any chance are you the other sibling? Also, my role in no way comes from your genre if I am right. I seem to be a role that was added in that has no correlation with you just for balancing. Also, the name that you think that person is, is only part of their name and only I posses the rest of it. This of course assumes I am right. If I am right I should be able to talk to you tonight.

I would like to reiterate the value that a name claim would bring to the town. True names, not the generic names.
