Once etherium sculpture rotates in, TSP rotates out... it can't be standard legal.
Also, with that amount of cards and mana, you might as well use reveillark.
I think the deck you need involves rosheem, mana reflection, doubling season, braid of fire, and tons of elves/wall of roots. Fun casual, impossible for constructed.
Blue also opens up academy ruins to help protect your charbelcher. I think ths deck could be very good, but I think the blue may be necessary to get the combo peices quick. Or green for a ramp type build (wall of roots and birds would accell into the belcher and horizons)
I would run blue green, with controlish elements (like rune snag) I would have carefull consideration and harmonize for draw, maybe primal command for searching. For win con, maybe the milling merfolk? It would fit in with the combo.
Are deathmarks so effective? i think terror fits the role better, can manage red and blue creatures, and is instant.
I don't understand Fulminator Mages... maybe for slowing down red burn? Bottle gnomes seems better to me
Death mark is one mana less, so can be used to slow down the turn one birds, turn 2 (card) openings. Also, It takes care of doran current, with is a huge threat. You already have a lot of instant speed destruction with sudden death, inversion and tendrils.
Haven't been playing magic for quite a while, but when I saw Devoted Druid after Shadowmoor came out, I instantly thought that it was breakable. So I've been making a deck that tries to abuse it:
I've been able to get the nuts draw easily in online matches (mountain, rite of flame, manamorphose, brute force/might of old krosa, deus/primus) but I'm sure that luck is not reliable enough for me to get that hand all the time.
Comments? Suggestions?
Cut tower above and 2 brute forces for Might of Oaks. Also, Llanowar augur I think would be a welcomed addition for pumping Devoted druid or deus if there are blockers. Lastly, add some of the new R/g lands (blazing canopy?) for mana fixing.
I would asy Might Of Oaks would be better than tower above, as it gives it 3 more activations from Devoted Druid, and also is a an instant, so you can use it as a combat trick, or as a guaranteed Deus Of Calamity activation.
You're right, its kinda stupid thats how it works, but that magic for ya.
I actually kinda like this deck idea. The fact that the juniper order ranger is also huge is pretty sweet. Primal commands would be very helpful in this deck, like cloud said. Something to add to sideboard would be oracle of nectar.
Wait, doesnt this combo just not work? Persist says that it only returns if it doesnt have a -1/-1 counter on it. The Juniper Order ranger doesnt cancel that out...

I do not even want to know how that works.

For your side board. Its actually a really good card against lark.
