One of the spoiled cards did say Nahiri wanted Sorin to experience what it felt like to have his world destroyed like her's was by the Eldrazi. And she's an old walker so its possible she's seen or at least know about the phyrexians, so it not hard to imagine that she would bring the oil to Innistrad to "get back at" Sorin for not going to Innistrad
This weekend I'm going to a tourney with this deck for the first time, and was wondering if you all had any tips or anything to watch out for, or about must haves in my board?
Although Infect isn't favored in the meta atm doesn't mean it's a bad deck, it's one of the best out there. I think the time to build/master the deck is now before shadows comes out because something from eldrazi is going to get banned. They've said that much. And after that happens all the cards in the deck will go up. So I think this is the perfect time to play the deck.
Thank you! I've seen people run 4 of become immense but I can't bring myself to run more than 2, the cmc is too high. It's great but honestly you want the game to be over before you get a chance to use it. Git Probe helps a lot but still, if you have to delve to use to game probably isn't going your way.
I'm currently trying to build a budget version of infect (i.e. no fetches, or inkmoth nexus or hierarch) so because I can't get fetches I'm thinking of running giant growth over groundswell because with out the landfall it's not great. Thoughts? or if you can give me any ideas on decent budget builds let me know
There are a few decks out there that can play blood moon turn one or two consistently, so it's not a crazy idea to think that it could happen. Also a dew decks are playing the bridge them because of the eldarzi decks so -they're not uncommon either
I'm honestly considering running just one island because it could make a difference especially with blood moon decks on the rise. Infect can be really week against a blood moon deck. Also thinking about cutting my rancor since ensnaring bridge is also being used like crazy
So what more important, Noble hierarch or Inkmoth Nexus? I'm making a budget list that I'm slowly going to make T1 and was wondering which I should get first. Also is Birds of paradise a good sup for Hierarch or no?
