Yea, the entering the battlefield tapped is what kind of has me hesitant but with the untappers and me not running any other lands that come into play tapped I feel like I could probably get away with it.
I don't have a dog in this fight but I'm curious, of those 15 or so games at a semi-competitive or above level, how many of those 15 games did you win or were in a position to win? Also, are all these games at one LGS or is it a variety of different people/places played?
I ask the second question because my playgroup is considered to be among the "above semi-competitive" level at one shop 2 hours away that we go to for EDH tournaments but our decks are pretty much on par power wise (by design) with the rest of the shop that we live by.
Had a heckuva game the other day with my zombie build. After continuously having to rebuild after board wipes I was finally able to stabilize around turn 11. Honestly with the Teysa deck draining everyone at the rate it was starting to, I thought I was done...then I top-decked Rot Hulk, returned Undead Warchief, Sidisi, Undead Vizier, and Phyrexian Delver to the battlefield. Had Sidisi exploit a zombie token to search for and cast Cyclonic Rift. Used Phyrexian Delvers ability to bring Body Double back as a copy of Craterhoof Behemoth and swing out for the win.
It's a great combo but I just really needed some slots for some great cards and I couldn't find anything else to cut. On their own they're still useful but not as useful as what I cut them for. Together they're amazing but I now have more amazing synergies in the deck with what I cut. The combo is cute and I'm glad I figured it out and is my own creation, but at the end of the day, I just have to play what's better. That being said, I might use it in an alternate build (like the Zombie one) of even the budget one since now the altar is a bit cheaper.
That's what I was thinking. Altar of Dementia & Mortuary do a lot on their own, but Narcomoeba doesn't seem to do much in the deck on it's own.
Suggestions for a good discard outlet for a zombie build?
I keep ending up with cards I want in my graveyard in my hand (Wonder, Vengeful Pharaoh, one of the titans, Bridge from Below which I'm play-testing, etc.).
World Shaper is definitely better. My son's friend is trying to build a budget Sidisi and I'm going to send him the link to your primer. (he likes my build but can't afford some of the pricier cards SOTF, Cradle, Intuition, etc.).
I do have a question, why no Sliver Legion?
Also, any thoughts on if you're going to migrate to the new site or stay here?

I was leaning towards maybe Scroll Rack in place of Sylvan Library.
I'm still holding out hope for a Sultai planeswalker at some point that will really fit the direction of this deck.
I like Yarok but I'm not sure I run enough ETB effects for it to be worth it, though that with Path of Discovery could be absolutely nuts.
