@Bravelion: Regarding challenge 1, will a non-mana flashback cost (such as Cabal Therapy's) fit the challenge?
Edit: Sarnath'd. Also, if this is unacceptable, would a flashback cost that doesn't contain mana but does require your deck to have access to a different color fit the challenge? (i.e. if Battle Screech would have been a blue card but with the same flashback cost)
Unholy Illness1B
Enchantment (R)
At the beginning of each end step, if there are no Carriers on the battlefield, target creature becomes a Carrier in addition to its other types (this effect lasts indefinitely).
Carriers get -1/-1.
Whenever a Carrier dies, up to two target creatures become Carriers in addition to their other types (this effect lasts indefinitely).
Final Flame1R
Sorcery {U}
Final Flame deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
If you would draw a card while you have no cards in hand, instead you may cast Final Flame from your graveyard. If you do, exile it as it resolves.
An interesting twist on the on and off hellbent theme in red. I get that having a repeat lightning strike is quite good, but I'd love it more if the trigger didn't require me to miss a card draw. The way it's written, it just seems like an overcomplicated version of flashback. Good, yes, but not polished.
Scenario #3
Flickering Fire1R
Instant (Uncommon)
Flickering Flame deals 3 damage to target creature. Arcana - If you've cast another spell this turn, Flickering Flame deals 3 damage to that creature's controller.
Arcana seems like a less flexible version of surge. Considering how easy it's going to be for red burn decks to trigger compared to Draconic Roar, I'm a bit worried it might be too good.
Graverobber Shade2B
Creature — Shade (U) B: Graverobber Shade gets +1/+1 until end of turn. 1, Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Graverobber Shade gets +1/+1 until end of turn.

Ah, yes, the double shade design. The first scenario did request that you'd create a weak card for a theme, but even though the graveyard-themed part of the card is not that powerful, shades can be a real pain in limited environments that don't include -1/-1 counters. I'd probably still pick this card high if I was playing the archetype.
Distracting Hawk2WW
Creature - Bird (U)
Flying
When Distracting Hawk enters the battlefield, put two 1/1 white Bird creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
As long as Distracting Hawk is attacking, defending player can't cast spells with converted mana cost equal to or less than the number of Bird creatures you control and are attacking. They always go for the face.
2/2
So many things going on with this card. 4 points of flying power for 4 is enough to fulfill the round requirements on its own, but you've also included an ability that prevents opponent's combat tricks when you're attacking, which to me pushes this card to rare territory. The problem is that this card is so good, it won't matter what archetype you're playing, it'll be a first pick as long as you're in the color. I like a lot of things about this card, but it's too good as per the round requirements.
You've went for a straightforward solution for the challenge, a bit too straightforward to my taste. It's just seems lazy to use the simple "lord" template and call it a day. As far as balance goes, it's fine. I'd much rather it would boost creatures with flying rather than birds and be rare, but that's not a big issue.
Sepulchral BoonG
Enchantment - Aura (U)
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each card type among cards in all graveyards.
I have to admit that the first scenario seemed t me a bit annoying - not only did you need to create a weak card, but still make it dynamic enough for people to care, but you've done a pretty good job. Giving creatures the Tarmogoyf ability for one mana can have some great implications. Limited might be able to use it to punch face, and constructed might like another tool for boggles. Not original, but impactful, all without being broken.
I don't see the confusion in the green card. That meaning requires the word "total" - see Formidable or Mossbridge Troll and Reveillark specifically. I agree that it should be "two creatures other than enchanted creature", but I didn't want to complicate even more, and I guess the trapped individual could exert some force as well?
I also don't get the "more black flavor/effect" references in the second one. Could you help me here?
About the green card - You don't see the confusion because your knowledge of magic affects your understanding of the card. As I've said, try and see this as a brand new player. It's the same reasoning which causes Wizards to template some ETB effects as "When this or another FOO enter the battlefield" and "Whenever another FOO enters the battlefield", but never "Whenever a FOO enters the battlefield". It's a small issue, but it sticks out in a top-down design, since each reading effects the flavor.
As for the black, I can't speak for moss, but I think he meant to say that the "Sacrifice this unless you pay" effect brings to mind extortion from a flavor perspective, which is black rather than red.
I see you like Eldrazis, so I put Eldrazis in your Eldrazis:
Progenitor of Invasion7CC
