Hey all, new to the forum. I have a living end deck and a lantern control deck. The lantern has all the trimmings and is prolly close to $1k. The Living end has most things and is prolly around $350. I am having a love hate relationship with my lantern deck which I would consider my main. I have prolly spent around $200 on it and sold my mtgo cards and traded my binder jank for the rest. I was very psyched about the deck initially and when you get the lock it feels amazing. I just got into modern again after a 2 year hiatus from mtg. I have not played lantern much but it seems immensely powerful if you are a very good player and its going to take me some time to get good with it. I feel it may not be my playstyle because I am a pretty impatient person and I am a little sad that I spent all the time putting it together and not liking it as much as I thought (although I have only played it in two small tourneys). Sorry for the long rant but I played against a blue moon deck in the last tourney and although I beat it, it really intrigued me and seems more up my alley. I'm considering trading my lantern and living end decks for the blue moon deck.
For TLDR, the main points are as follows:
-Should I trade my lantern deck despite the fact that all the pieces keep going up in value and a lot of the main deck is good sideboard cards.
-Does anyone know of a place that you can safely trade whole decks online
-Is it worth it to invest in a blue moon deck? The snapcasters and scalding tarns are so high that it seems a bit crazy to get so invested when I would have to assume those cards will be reprinted at some point. Also it seems that blood moon could eventually get banned since it is so oppressive in the format
-Should I stop whining and get gud with lantern since it is clearly tier one and seems to have no where to go but up.
