Anyone have any thoughts on running a copy of haven of the spirit dragon ? Leads to the possibility of an Ugin package. Haven + Crucible + Ugin + Ruins/value card.
Does anybody run Wheel of Sun and Moon in their SB as an asymmetric graveyard hate card? I'm thinking about it after getting trounced by some form of dredgevine the other day.
I find the 4 GQ are pretty necessary in a long game where man-lands can dodge sorcery speed removal. Sure you have PtE but having another 2 answers that can be recurred with Sun Titan is nice.
Thanks for all the feedback folks. I've decided against the aura of silence. Phantasmal images are cool. Gonna pick some up at some stage but not right now. Current list looks like this. My worry is that the list is a bit diluted with 11 instants and 2 sorceries.
looking for some feedback on my deck. Only played it once at a modern night so I don't have a lot of experience with it so far. Mainly looking to tweak the SB.
D. spheres are a kinda catch all that I like.
Disenchant for decks that play blood moons and 8rack, affinity etc.
Lone missionary vs burn or anywhere I need a bit more aggro.
Meddling mage and pithing needle for combo shutdown.
Verdicts for aggro matchups.
Stony silence for affinity, tron,ad nauseam.
vapor snag for infect.
How does one deal with the Ad Nauseam match up? I don't have nevermore or meddling mage in my SB but I'm guessing these are a pretty decent answer to it, gonna pick some up during the week. Any other tips?
I'm thinking of buy this deck on paper. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I was wondering why lone missionary is chosen over a 1-drop like cathedral sanctifier? Does lone missionary just trade better with threats? Does the extra life make enough of a difference?
