I was trying to sell cards I had to get store credit with which to purchase the deck. Sorry if I was unclear.

I have a store near me that I don't particularly care for. Their first issue is a somewhat small play area packed with as many tables and chairs as possible, making it a misery to ever play in an event with more than 15 people. I can forgive that though, they're just doing the best with what they have. They also have fairly high prices on singles and sealed product, but I can forgive that too, since I understand that smaller stores can't afford to sell for too cheap. What I cannot forgive is the abysmal customer service. The store has three employees that sometimes work the register. The first is an older woman who is nice enough, but the other two are either rude or completely inattentive. They always act like doing their job is some kind of terrible inconvenience, and every interaction with them has resulted in a glare or a condescending remark.

The worst is the owner. Aside from seeming to have absolutely no interest in the game or his store, he engages in some really scummy business practices. In 2014, when the mono color commander decks had just been released, I went to the store to buy the red one, which at the time was worth more than all the others. He was selling them for 40 dollars, which was more than the others, but still less than some places were selling for, so I decided to sell some of the cards I didn't want for store credit. After I had sold the cards, he refused to let me use the credit towards the deck. When I asked why, he told me that he "didnt have to" let me use it. What's the point of store credit if I can't use it for what I want to buy?

At least I don't have to go there anymore. I found another store that's much closer and better in every regard. I do kind of feel for the owner though. He got robbed a little while back, and I had heard a rumor that he was having other money troubles. I get that he may have needed the money, but screwing over customers is not the way to do it.

Hey everybody! I've decided to get into legacy, and have chosen Enchantress as my first deck. I've done some playtesting against a friend of mine who runs miracles, and I find myself losing quite often. Is there any strategy for dealing with miracles, or do I just have to hope they don't get the lock before I can play a draw engine?
