Nicely done in the end, all. TBH I was pretty convinced AE was the SK, so I was pleasantly surprised when it came out in the end. Nicely played AW. You were always kind of hovering at the bottom of my scum list, but never anywhere near the top.
On the setup, the triple masons w/ role cop (esp when role cop is basically real cop) were actually absurdly strong. In retrospect, we should have been using our namecop much earlier than we were (had to build up charges, but we should have been using whenever we had a chance, instead of just at the end). I did toy with the idea of a scum among us, but considering the mechanics of our roles, I wasn't convinced it was really possible/workable. AI was obvtown the whole way through, and after I got switched with Infinis, it was pretty much set in stone.
Anyway, I do actually think we played pretty lousy as town in a setup which strongly favored us, but some decent decision making in a few instances and huge mistakes by scum at the end got us out of the mess.
Lol, I do actually buy the doc/kill flavor speculation, which still means that we don't actually have a scum kill. Not that it's terribly relevant.
Anyway, that being said, Manders is definitely not Terry Fox. I got Vikings as my result, so unless something weird is going on, it looks pretty cut and dry to me.
It shouldn't be brain surgery for watcher/tracker/doc/whoever to figure out their targets. There are enough good targets that presetting all of them is just going to let scum know who to kill. With the silly amount of targeted abilities flying around, I'm betting we can disentangle at least a few lies/misapprehensions from the mess, but overplanning defeats the whole purpose.
Get on with it. This day has been sufficiently draggy as is.
Erm, are we really considering not lynching a claimed SK when we have an active vig? Making deals with neutrals whose win cons require you dead is usually not a good plan, especially when they have a track record a mile long of not actually being neutrals. The odds of Nom being scum are astronomical, and even if he is what he says he is, he needs to die.
IMHO lynching the unknown vanillas is probably the way to go. If we find a scum in there, it does pretty much confirm both clayton and id ego, so the upside is pretty high.
FTR, I do get the name, not the role, i.e. I would be getting "Terry Fox" or something completely different, not "town hero." I can help solve the flavor crisis, but if the case hinges on the role itself, my investigation's not going to be a ton of use. IMHO all the junk about dead or not is completely a stretch, and I think I would die a little bit inside if we lynched based on that.
The case on MH so far isn't any different than the weak behavioral fluff which has been floating around so far, I'm still much happier lynching Nom.
FTR, I am also a fan of lynching anyone who posts with colored text. Because that's just inane.
Despite a preponderance of behavioral foibles, TACKY has claimed a number of kills which would be difficult to explain coming from a scum/neutral source (i.e. nights when 3 people died, he claimed a kill). Limited shot SK is a role which has been seen lately, but I think the odds of TACKY claiming limited shot if he wasn't restricted to such are practically none.
Weird potential scenario - scum didn't kill last night, and with the roles claimed, we have no indication of any active protective roles in the town. IMHO it's possible that scum could not kill during a night in order to save a kill for another night, but that's hugely speculative. This is also maybe worth considering in evaluating TACKY's "killing" ability.
Or maybe it just got forgotten. It's terribad play, but it does happen. Dunno which is really more likely.
The only real person that I'm weirded out is still alive is Anak. His role is unreal powerful for the town, even as an every-other night ability. The rest are not so surprising.
Because I'm wondering, do we have any clue whatsoever why Zind died?

While I haven't been jazzed about TACKY's play all game, I doubt that there's a gambit running with it. He's handicapping himself tremendously if he's an SK, and we do have reasonable explanations for the kills which happened if you consider his claimed actions. I am not willing to consider a scum with double extra kills as a possibility, it's just unreal overpowered. I was writing a game a while back which had a potential double-extra-killing scum role in it, and it just made the numbers hideous. If he's a limited kill SK, we can deal with him whenever, he's not a huge threat ATM.
I was hoping for a more role-based case, but it doesn't really look like there's one to be had. I have to look over the behavioral discussion lately and decide if I still really want to lynch clay. At the very least, lynching clay gives us Id Ego's alignment, either way, so that's a strong potential benefit to consider.
Regardless, I continue to dislike the RO wagon, partially because I do happen to completely agree on the issue of AE. He's just been posting so minimally there's really not much of a behavioral case to make on him (which maybe is a real point, but it's a weak one).
I should mention that somewhere I read that you should be wary of people who claim before they need to/at a strange time. It's like a half scum tell.
*looking up*
Actually totally agree with this as a scum tell, but if you look back at the situation, it was really an easy call. It's not healthy to leave cryptic plans buried past their profitability, and AI was dead, so if Infinis (or me) gets shot, I lose all ability to corroborate my claim/plan.
Anyway, updated claim stuff, pulled from Anak's post

RO I read as his usual town, but he should just claim at this point. As should Alpha. They're the only two who have not, iirc.
FTR, if we have a neutral, AK's ability certainly fits the bill best. I could totally see the reflection thing working for a neutral-appropriate protection ability.
Yeah, this is definitely the time to go for testing Gamerz' out. 3 votes on me is "safe", since the guy being lynched can't just switch across and quicklynch me (if two scum want to reveal themselves by combining to do it, I can live with that). That might not be the case on later nights.
Agree, the vig ability actually has a cute little tension in it, because it allows the possibility for a speedylynch. Today is by far the safest day to test, if we're planning on testing.
Am not a huge fan of this RO wagon, at all. The case is much less than compelling (what the hell is the case anyway, that Zind said he tracked him? failing to see an argument in that)
Regardless, clay needs to fullclaim before we do anything.
Correct, King's Knight. Was originally Jack's Knight.
I'm not convinced we should really be voting anyone until we resolve Clayton's claim. There are a huge amount of terribad ideas going around the thread at the moment.

Certainly not opposed to this plan, eh. A falseclaim is pretty black and white.
Slightly amused by how fabricated Manders' response is.

And scum tend to avoid killing townies w/o abilities, confirmed or not. Not saying it's correct, but it's the usual MO.
