If there’s a rule change with mdfc cards

probably you can cascade the other side if the cmc is lower than that sides cmc

First of all I want to mention how good the Ranar story was. Just a cool story.

The "Battle for Kaldheim" was a little messy but everyone is just wanting to know the epilogue of course..
It was emphasized that Esika's inner sanctum was hidden and no one had found her there... so .. some phyrexian spying or just investigating by Vorinclex while on Kaldheim?
He didn't poison the tyrite with oil which even the author seems to want us to see as surprising....
Instead collecting it .. implicating a knowledge of what it does...
    Calling for a "portal"
The other voice I find described in just a different way than they said vorinclex was a weird synthesized mash up, so I see it as just another Phyrexian
    But who??

he probably didn't need to contaminate it because esika might do it for him. He said “soon tough” after he mentioned not enough hunger nor fear to survive. Which might mean he planted glistening oil (ichor) in her to eventually be compleated

secondly he took the tyrite so they can test if that will be enough to prevent organic matter from being destroyed upon entering the portal if it works they will reproduce it.

Well without guessing Kaya walker card is gonna be one of them based on the title box

but Which one is the question there’s 4 to choose from

Shalai, Voice of Plenty Is a nice card for players

ponder that art is incredible so Rielle, the Everwise has a daughter

With kaldheim story is wrapped up and epilogue reveals interplanar travel was finally cracked on new phyrexia (but how they got it is unknown for the moment)

each praetor or phyrexian legends gonna show up in future sets is a biggest safe bet since they are gathering supplies to fix the organic destruction part of their portal and to work up the story

The speculation is what praetors/phyrexian will we see In upcoming sets to slowly but surely prep up for the return of the most popular villains in Magic’s history

Read my post again. It's obviously a Phyrexian, I said i didn't think it was Jin Gitaxias or another Praetor. As a matter of fact, I think it was the big Phyrexian in the video you posted. It has been my thought since I first saw it that that art is some hidden new Yawgmoth type king, above and beyond the praetors. They gave the Eldrazi AND Bolas pretty lame ends, they need some new face of the threat, and no monocolor 1 of 5 feels like it fits.

really that’s interesting theory sorry for thr mis communication.

but one problem though didn't they attempt to give karn that role but They failed thanks to vensor sacrificing himself?

Oh by the way looking on reddit it just hit me why vorinclex wanted tibalt to distract them

the Whole gods fighting during doomkar which is what tibalt wanted

but What vorinclex wanted.... so the 11 gods are distracted to focus on protecting esika the god who makes the tyrite so there was next to none defense to retrieve the tyrite so maybe with whatever technology the phyrexians had they knew where she and the sanctum was the whole time

oh And I feel guilty but I missed this

    vorinclex's words to esika

"Not enough hunger in you. Not enough fear to survive. Soon, though."

    Soon, though

    You what the means...

vorinclex may have planted oil in her to compleat her!

I definitely don't think the voice was Jin Gitaxias. I could jsut be wrong and going with what a higher quality story would do (i like the story fine, but the WotS arc was full of us coming up with ideas a million times more sophisticated than what we got, we just can't confuse them with people tying to take a creative new path) but Esika specifically noting that the voice was more alien makes me think it's not a praetor. Could be some new hidden overlord.

    yea

oh the alien voice theory your kidding right?

    1. It litterally said “welcome back vorinclex”

    2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdDXMG9jvwg The weird voice reading the scriptures literally sounds alien like voice and clearly it’s a safe bet it was a random phyrexian reading it.

though kind of weird vorinclex didn’t compleated her then she would have gone with him and they would had a phyrexian version of esika which would have the recipe then the phyrexians would get the divinity rather than the Norse gods

Oh there’s something interesting no one spotted

vorinclex yelled out for the portal and their it was...

how can it be tezzert if he can summon a portal by just calling/talking (in ixalan bolas gave vraska a spell so he can tell tezzert where she was and where the sun was)

the phyrexians variant of Planar Bridge must be eons more complex and the fact they can use walkie talkies outside new phyrexia means they can just spy on other planes

tinfoil hat theory: kaya's onslaught was done from time travel like Karn did to stop K'rrick from causing that invasion.so in a future set to prevent them from ever getting the tyrite

True but out of all of the walkers has connections to the phyrexians and the bridge once the organic matter part can survive is made is so far the only thing in existence so far that can let non walker things into other planes since the mending

Sorry, I can't make any sense of this sentence. Sure, Tezzeret is a good candidate, but the destruction of organic matter isn't tied specifically to the bridge, afaik. There could be other mechanisms at play, maybe we could finally start to see what Children of the Nameless was all about with the "entity" stuff.

I guess but what I know for sure they are gonna test the tyrite with whatever portal they made and see if the organic matter stays.

oh sorry you don’t know what I’m talking about the last story was shown

    https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/magic-story/episode-5-battle-kaldheim-2021-02-03

    Vorinclex survives

He’s the first to find esika sanctuary and by just barely esika is still alive after vorinclex brutal attack on her and tells her

"Not enough hunger in you. Not enough fear to survive. Soon, though."

by that soon part I see “eventually you will end up compleated”

He gets a sample from the Tyrite Sanctum when she’s way to close to death to stop him

then signals a random phyrexian or praetor he got the sample and a red star pops out and turns to a portal back to new phyrexia and is greeted by a praetor/phyrexian/atraxa

and Yes she witness the portal being open and knows it’s not a cosmo portal and even hears the horrifying phyrexian tone of voice say

"Welcome back, Vorinclex. We step ever closer to perfection.

    Final story;
    https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/magic-story/episode-5-battle-kaldheim-2021-02-03

-Again like Zendikar I think my only biggest issues is wanting more. A few things (the elves deciding not to kill the gods, Tyver switching around about planeswalkers, meeting the gods ect) all felt very rushed but I think it could have been fixed with more chapters on it.

-Biggest of note: Kaya doesn't kill Vorinclex.

-Kaya ends the story with Tyver and Niko being a walker mentor

-Vorinclex kills Esika (RIP) and takes some of the god exiliar. And while it seems like the likely candidate is Tezzeret the epilogue hints there might be more to this.

The voice from the portal said

"Welcome back, Vorinclex. We step ever closer to perfection."

thats 1 million percent something Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur would say could they have set aside their differences? Because I thought Jin hated vorinclex

and Also weird did the the praetors know about the tyrite all along? since they wanted a sample of it.

I hate to tell you guys this just like zendikar rising only 5 chapters

    But the important part

Vorinclex went back home he survived so confirmed Kaya's Onslaught was only the first encounter

    any It’s in the epilogue

So sad Esika, God of the Tree and vorinclex fought and she lost she’s dying too and at the same time after the fight vorinclex finally starts talking

and here’s were the dark clouds and thunder part comes in... he produced the tyrite (obviously with a phyrexian touch to it) and drip a drop into it and he got a sample of Tyrite Sanctum and called he got it and is ready to come home.

then a red portal opened up esika knew it wasn't a omenpath and she heard a disturbing voice ever saying

"Welcome back, Vorinclex. We step ever closer to perfection."

whooooa did Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur set aside their differences because perfection is his thing and he hates vorinclex maybe how vorinclex arrived is Jin-Gitaxias cracked it on fixing memnarchs planar bridge which came with the cons of the planar bridge

A theory among my friends is that Vorinclux being on Kaldheim is Tezzeret’s doing, since he is the most likely person to take possession of the planar bridge after Bolas was defeated and Tezzeret also has personally interacted with the Praetors.

As for why Tezzeret put Vorinclux on Kaldheim, my guess is that he’s creating a distraction. He has big plans on some other plane and is trying to wreak havoc everywhere else to draw away the attention of the planeswalkers that would try to stop him. So I’m guessing that he’s portaled few of the Praetors to different planes. I think Strixhaven might be where Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur has been portaled, since he is obsessed with trying to learn as much as possible about magic. I can also see Sheoldred and/or Elesh Norn in Innistrad, since that plane could fit either one of them.

oh it is tezzert in vorinclex lore it mentions his organic matter was lost during the travel but not the metal and bones (he got repaired thanks to a stag being a little too curious) that’s the exact description of what happens when something enters the bridge and Jin does know existence of other planes (he’s trying to repair the planar portal memnarch made)

and Jin is definately a good fit for strixhaven he can look for perfection over there

Isn't it a universal feature of planar travel (except planeswalkers)? I think I recall Huatli having her snack ruined during a regular planeswalk.
On an unrelated note, the distinction is pretty weird. Food and living tissue gets ruined, while organic fabric is fine. Also, didn't Nissa take some Zendikari seeds off-plane?

True but out of all of the walkers has connections to the phyrexians and the bridge once the organic matter part can survive is made is so far the only thing in existence so far that can let non walker things into other planes since the mending

    uh oh

    leaks incoming brace for impact

Oh and I have a theory the Oracle update offical came out but still no reveal on what older cards will get the typing

    but we get

Phyrexian is now officially a creature type, but it's important that you don't tell anyone.

the aka of this is “please stay tuned we have plans to show the older cards getting the typing”

I feel either here in “time spiral remastered” or after the Kaldheim story we will see the update

I didn’t see it but I’m willing to bet the video is talking about Tibalt's Trickery

Basicly it was a error to make the card like that you can cheat out Emrakul, the Aeons Torn by countering your own spell and you get the extra turn part too (talking modern) for one example

its Already looking that card is a format warper like Uro was
