Oh, wait, nevermind. It may not have that artwork. *shrug* I hope it is though.

Second art down look at name at bottom left of it they sometimes mention the card name on the art.
You might notice something alarmly identical about the name

I like this take on the mechanic. I question how effective they will be, however - needing to wait two more turns to flip it, then likely a third before you can attack (except for ones that gain haste) requires a pretty drawn out game.
Yeah, cool idea but most of them will probably not be really good or one of them will be close to broken or something. It's always hard to get that good middle ground in terms of power level.
well finance wise hallowed haunting might get a hype spike because these work both ways
Saga’s make the spirit tokens from it then when they flip it pumps the tokens by +1/+1
and B instead of graveyard recursion all you need is flicker/ninjutsu to rest the saga when they flip

You both made one mistake
the Jugan card from the first leak isn't legendary either

(Note: names will disappear eventually)
you get the following names and reminder this is the exact same source that leaked the dragon names on strixhaven.
1. Raiyuu & isshin
2. Shigeki, Jukai Visionary
3.Kaito Shizuki & The Wanderer
4.Kotose & Light-Paws
and I saved the biggest one for last and it finally ends a rumor then again it’s probably nothing
update: the figure got spoiled now
to Recap that rumor his card name is claimed to be “reality hacker”
Dec 15, 2021Posted in: The Rumor MillQuote from Dunharrow »So let me get this straight - y'all were okay with fleetwheel cruiser and untethered express because they were powered by Aether, but this motorcycle that is probably powered by magic is too much?
Also people hated the flavor of Kamigawa. Some people loved it, but since most people didn't understand it Wizards said they would never return. Because of overly vocal fans of Kamigawa they now decided to return with some major tweaks. So you overly vocal fans better not complain about the aesthetics because IMO we would have been better off never returning to Kamigawa. This is your doing!
finally it’s not just me.

would Rules committee even allow a creature that can make a black lotus when flicker cards exist to make more (which is how I would build him by the way) and we were just screaming at the top of are lungs in anger at wizards about Jeweled Lotus
I assume you are talking an EDH perspective and not modern - I seriously doubt a 5 drop that must use a tap abillity without haste matters at all there.
It is a cute abillity, but it is not banable (at least from a power perspective). Like, compare him to Jegantha, the Wellspring. The latter gives 5 mana every turn with some restrictions on the mana. This gives you 3 mana (that admittedly can be saved) and requires you to jump through hoops to get more. I would say that it is similar in level to Jegantha, but Jegantha sees relatively little play, so I can't see this getting banned for the Black Lotus abillity. Naturally, the other options might be better or just as good, but still, they are not too unfair.
I think it is fair to draw a parallel to Captain Sisay. She is also a toolbox commander, but she can go off on her own, cost less and her toolbox have better cards. She is missing colors though, but still.
May 23, 2021From my testing with Yusri, Fortune's Flame in Modern, he does not need Krark's Thumb (or Personal Sanctuary) to be good. In fact, the only support he got in UR Prowess was that he was surrounded by cheap removal magnets (and a somewhat less painful mana base). Yusri is basically two flying Bobs in a UR trenchcoat (hint: you want to flip 5 coins per attack most of the time because you're simply that desperate to close out the game). Yes, I believe he'll see play in Modern - it's quickly game over if he's the only guy to sneak through their removal wall.Posted in: The Rumor Mill
So the only markets I believe will support a Krark's Thumb price raise are the EDH and casual markets.
In the meantime, I'm not sure which win con is the best for Modern Unmarked Grave Hulk Footsteps. The old standby Body Double + Reveillark + Mogg Fanatic + Viscera Seer is painfully graveyard hate-weak and clogs your deck with prohibitively expensive creatures. The Body Double + Vesperlark + Carrion Feeder + Heart-Piercer Manticore plan is similarly graveyard hate-weak and is more vulnerable to removal. The Body Double + Vesperlark + Carrion Feeder + Thassa's Oracle + Leveler version gives you an alt win con, but Leveler is highly situational. Replace Leveler with Inverter of Truth + Remorseful Cleric and your alt win con looks better and Inverter can actually be played in some fair match-ups, but the loss of deck space can hurt you. At least Carrion Feeder lets you dodge Unmoored Ego better and is better against R(/X) Prowess's burn pings.

You remind me of the bullies which used to mock other kids because of their hobbies.Posted in: The Rumor Mill
And it is going to be even more shocking when this products have a large success and you see new players coming with their UB cards.
When all is said and done this products will bring new players, hope they are engaged and get more in to magic, I am going to welcomed them because sharing a hobby is nice, looking forward to teach them about the 25 years of magic history.
Feb 28, 2021SyrixLoremaster posted a message on Read this announcement at your own risk (it involves mtg)Posted in: The Rumor MillDo you mean the story of Urza, who becomes a Planeswalker and influences the path of Dominaria for centuries? Or the story of the Thran and the man who destroyed them in an attempt to become a Planeswalker himself and while not becoming a Planeswalker, did still have find ways to interact with other planes? Or the story of Jodah and Jaya, a world-traveller and a Planeswalker, respectively? Or the story of the Weatherlight and it's crew, as they use the ship to walk to other planes and deal with the threats that are approaching their own? Or the story of Jhoira, Teferi, and Karn, as they deal with an interplanar threat and eventually become planeswalkers in two of three cases? Or the story of Kamahl, who's dealing with the ramifications of an extra-planar object of intense power?
Like...I understand the frustration with the modern story, even if I don't fully agree with it. I just think the idea of "The story didn't used to have Planeswalkers as critical to the story" is maybe a bit misguided. The only stories I can think of that don't involve Planeswalkers, soon to be Planeswalkers, people who still travel between planes without being Planeswalkers, or dealing with the ramifications of a Planeswalker are like... original Ravnica and maybe Kamigawa.
Ravnica story was planeswalker-free (unless theres a tidbit that I missed in there somewhere) but Kamigawa had a character that could traverse planes. At the end of Saviors, Myojin of Night's Reach sends Toshiro Umezawa to Dominaria and blinds him in a Heliod-esque way (or should we say that Heliod was acting in a Myojin-esque way?) As payments for his services (might've been a punishment, Toshi was a shifty guy and I'm recalling the story from memory). Toshi's line would eventually bear Tetsuo Umezawa, the one guy credited with KILLING Nicol Bolas at Madara. Kamigawa, for those not in the know, was set WAY in the past. I dont know if it was ever said HOW far in the past but it does make me excited for that potential futuristic Kamigawa that was teased a little while back.
Anyways, just wanted to put in my two cents there.
As for this Universe Expanded, I'm always excited to see Magic move in new directions. I actually shared this info with a few coworkers that I would describe as "kitchen table players" that dont regularly follow Magic and they all expressed their interest to varying degrees. (Also as a part of that discussion I shared my acquisition of the Walking Dead Secret Lair and how it plays into the Universe Expanded with one such coworker and he was REALLY interested in those.)
This is the market that Wizards is targeting with this Universe Expanded. It was actually cool to see that someone that plays Magic peripherally and may not be up to date with what's going on in Magic would be able to pick up a Lord of the Rings pack on the shelf with the Magic logo and be excited. Or, for that matter, longtime LotR fans that see a booster pack and that is the gateway to them coming to play Magic.
Everyone on here seems to be harshing on Magic diversifying its product lineup to try to include new consumers. It really isnt about you. As Maro says, "not every product is meant for every player."
Oh and on the note of gatekeeping, I have a complete Silver Bordered EDH deck that prior to lockdown, I used to bring to my LGS and force into Commander games. I say force because by it's very nature, people immediately refuse to play with me because "I dont want to be forced to do the Hokey Pokey." This was an actual line dropped on me once and the sheer IGNORANCE of it left me speechless. But take my example and apply it to Johnny, LotR fanboy who has just built his first Magic deck and heard that this local comics and gaming store has people playing Magic, so he goes and takes his deck to play. But when he shows up to play, instead of maybe playing a game or two or if not willing to play against him offering a spare deck to play a couple games of Magic with him players instead give the above vehement rebuttal and oust him from the group "because Im.not playing with those cards" as I see SOOOO many people commenting, YOU are gatekeeping and YOU are part of the problem.

is The exile zone targetable with proliferate
From the Comprehensive Rules (November 20, 2020—Commander Legends):
701.27a To proliferate means to choose any number of permanents and/or players that have a counter, then give each one additional counter of each kind
that permanent or player already has.
It doesn't work, because when she's exiled she is not a permanent.
