And no I’m not part of the problem the only secret lair I got was kildescope killers and that’s the only good one so far (yes aware that cards drastically lost value) I got it because I love ur alt art since I play all 3 of those legends

But not that it matters you can get the cards as singles

With the leak about keyword counters from Ikoria, Oubliette could be a decent fit for Ikoria, to be honest.
It comes at 2 devotion to black for Theros synergy, then removes a creature without removing the keyword counters from it in the case the creature returns to the battlefield.

Would it? Isn't it exactly the type of card for secret lair? Quirky and useful, lacking wide appeal but very wanted by a small subset of individuals. That sounds like exactly the kind of thing to be put in secret lair.

I don't know, may be cards that have actually available counterparts from sets with a wider print-run than one of the first set ever printed that had a print-run smaller than the smallest recent set and never saw a reprint in 26+ years?

This Year FTV replacement is the Commander Collection, and there are two other LGS exclusives this year.

And Ikoria which is the next set is where it all starts

Basically two reasons:

One, reprints have to keep the same name, and an oubliette is not particularly Greek in origin. It's a French word.

Two, cards in Standard-legal sets follow the modern color pie and the ability is now a white ability, not a black ability.

That's why it's not in Theros Beyond Death. I am happy to say we found a way to template it so it can fit on a card (that's the real reason we haven't done it for so long), and it is planned to be reprinted in an upcoming product.

Eminence - if yawgmoth, father of machines is in your command zone or battlefield swamps you control have pay 2 life t: add one mana of any color

You can cast permanents from your graveyard and permanents you control enter as a artifact in addition to its types

5WURBG (phyrexian mana for each color) artifact creatures control gain infect till end of turn

I might have one idea for yawgmoth but this could be too powerful

I don't know if I'm the only one that feels it, but to me Ikoria could be the new Time Spiral in terms of mechanics. IF we are getting double-sided punch-out tokens that means we can expect a heavier-than-usual mechanical load. That might be the Acorn Counter that people are referring to, at least that'd be my guess anyway.

But they may figure out how to use the mechanic with older mechanics from previous sets (counters of those abilities)
