Oh forgot looking at ixhel bio

yea I’m doubling down that she joins team Urabrask/mirrodin/somewhat gatewatch as payback against atraxa/norn for rejecting vishgraz (basically she’s gonna be new phyrexias xantcha)

This stung Ixhel to the core. But as she has matured, so has her understanding of Phyrexia, and perhaps she has begun to call into question the doctrine that raised her.

Sometimes you pay 30$ for 5 basic lands. Sometimes, you pay 30$ and get batterskull, inkmoth nexus and glistener elf plus an in-demand commmander card. The Phyrexian Faves one is actually worth its price.

yea that’s the only lair worth it money wise in this package especially since you only need inkmoth nexus to pay for the lair (it’s around $32) (doesn’t pay shipping though but that’s where the other cards you mentioned comes in.)

Minor mistake kethek is not new character

into the core is kethek talking in the flavor text (which that now indicates it’s phyrexians being tricked into the core for flamethrower ammo) thought interesting to know she was created by both Urabrask and sheoldred

Yawgmoth, a medical genius from Dominaria, planeswalked to Old Phyrexia

One of the items she destroyed was a device of mass destruction called the sylex.

The oil eventually replaces all vital liquids in the host body, which prepares it for compleation, a surgical process that swaps the body's organic matter with artificial machinery. The oil can corrupt artifacts as well as organic beings.

good grief the writer(s) didn't do research

pretty Much nahiri, Jace, vraska, lukka, and nissa got no surgery of any sort each got compleated by a scratch/stab for lukkas case getting a little to comfortable with a phyrexian beast. Tamiyo is the only one we recall being compleated like what this guide saids.

Second Yawgmoth isn't a planeswalker he got there by a planeswalker named dyfed

Third ajani destroyed the sylex not sheoldred

With the whole bonus sheet thing there’s defiantly a big reason to make one

either they need it for a bunch of legendaries or…

Iconic Phyrexian creatures though out magic in general (mark literally said let’s see how March of the machines goes when someone did a If or when on a phyrexian tribal legend might as well have just said yes with a response like that.)

Reversing phyresis is difficult. After infection passes a certain stage, rehabilitation becomes impossible. Recovery varies per individual and becomes more difficult with increased compleation. Healing the mind may require different processes than healing body. However, several substances, like Halo, can stave off the transformative effects of glistening oil, and some individuals, like Melira, are entirely immune.

and thats it they pretty much almost a confession the walkers compleation is gonna be reversed somehow.

Mirrodin's red sun had an unforeseen effect on the Phyrexians. It gave them a sense of individualism, even sparking empathy in those of higher intelligence. Most suppressed this internal conflict by distracting themselves with the Great Work, reforging metal and incinerating failing organisms. However, Praetor Urabrask reflected and concluded that diversity and eccentricity are strengths in the Quiet Furnace. Unlike the other praetors who force new recruits into their designs, Urabrask prefers they retain the strongest parts of their original form and contribute these assets to Phyrexia. Secretly, he prefers when beings willingly choose to join New Phyrexia, but he is not above destroying those who oppose it.

Looks like i might be right if Urabrask survives in a Mom he will probably become fathere of machines... and still disapear in the shadows to be left alone not compleating people unless they want to be.

So on the WPN website we get some info on content in some of are products but there’s some stuff that may give big clues about the big changes maro was talking about there’s 3 products in particular

    1. Pre-release kits
The March of the Machine Prerelease Pack contains 6 March of the Machine Draft Boosters, 1 Traditional Foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic rare card, 1 new Mythic Rare card (Traditional Foil in 18% of Prerelease Packs), 1 code card to unlock 6 March of the Machine boosters in Magic: The Gathering Arena (only available in select regions), 1 deck box, and 1 Spindown life counter

what could that possibly mean by this it could be related to that “battle” type found on atraxa, grand unifier

    2. Draft boosters
Each March of the Machine Draft Booster contains 15 cards and 1 token/ad card or Helper card, including 1–2 card(s) of rarity Rare or higher and 3–5 Uncommon, 8–9 Common, and 1 Land cards. Traditional Foil Borderless Mythic Planeswalker in <1% of boosters. Traditional Foil of any rarity replaces a Common in 33% of boosters.

that’s not what it was before it was originally “1 rare/mythic, 3 uncommons, 10 commons, and 1 land” so that might be the second thing on are big change. Draft packs content changed. Also at the same time this could be a clue for DFC or Mystical archive 3

    3. Commander decks
This March of the Machine Commander Deck set includes 1 ready-to-play deck of 100 Magic cards (2 Traditional Foil Legendary cards, 98 nonfoil cards), 10 specialty cards, a 2-card Collector Booster Sample Pack, 1 Foil-Etched Display Commander (a thick cardstock copy of the commander card with foil etched into the card’s border and art), 10 double-sided tokens, 1 deck box (can hold 100 sleeved cards), 1 Life Wheel, 1 special die, 1 strategy insert, and 1 reference card.

a special die is new and we know dang well it’s not for life. this sounds like we’re getting a planechase like mechanic added to the game.

We will see what happens but…

Ok that is like guaranteed a “that’s almost a confession” moment that phyrexian tribal is in Mom

So we will see if some of the new “battle” cards include phyrexian tribal stuff. (Most won’t)

There really should have been more variants on the rebel tokens

the Hollowed one is un-canning to karn

And why do neither mite token look like Skrelv, Defector Mite

    No Changes

    No Changes

Lots of new toys, Phyrexian and otherwise, to play with, and we aren’t seeing anything that’s currently threatening our goals for the Commander experience.

Some folks have been asking about the number of poison counters in the wake of Phyrexia: All Will Be One. We’ll obviously keep an eye out, but at the moment we don’t see a need to raise it; the mechanic has not historically been all that strong due to the need to go it alone in killing people. Once everyone has had a chance to play with the new cards and mechanics and the immediate enthusiasm for the current set has faded a bit, we’ll see if action is needed.

While Sheldon’s article may have raised some eyebrows about Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, the RC has had no discussions about banning it. Some of us had concerns about the design: stapling a casual-popular mechanic onto a casual-dangerous mechanic comes with some risks that are unrelated to power level, but there’s absolutely no way that would lead to a zero-day ban, and we doubt any action will be needed in the future.

We’ve publicly had our eye on Dockside Extortionist for a while now, and have ultimately concluded that, unless there’s a sudden surge into more casual spaces – where it hasn’t really thrived due to the lower density of cheap, fast mana – we don’t anticipate taking action on it. It’s a ridiculously powerful card, but scales with the rest of the table, and at the point it becomes broken, plenty of other broken stuff is already happening.

We’ll be back with our next update on April 10th, with March of the Machine. Until then, come hang out with all the great people in the MTGCommander.net discord to talk about the format!

short version is this for each

We will watch how much faster poison wins but it’s still gonna be 10 for now.

while brings a couple of concerns elesh norn, mother of machines is not getting banned

dockside extortionist is never getting banned unless he’s causing havoc on casual games (only seen in Cedh tables mostly) so he basically in the same boat as cyclonic rift.

Next one will be April 10th

  • posted a message on Pre-release box of March of the machines… (side of box has another potential legend sighting)

pretty typical but where the real interest comes is not just the angel wing it’s this

now it looks like a typical dinosaur but you look on further inspection

    1. The spikes on nose tip.

    2. Stripes on sides

    3. The things on the jaw line

    4. You notice the skin is actually green

you Realize it’s this big girl

so ixalan is infact a hit for “March of the machines” set.

OH! You know what it just accured to me.

we already know those praetor pictures don't exist anyway and upping the counters involves dealing combat damage and you get benefits for a higher count

so Maybe this is a test pilot of the battle type
