Has anyone tried Chronic Flooding instead of Mesmeric Orb? They are very similar but each with its own pros and cons. Being one sided and slightly harder to remove makes me want to give it a shot. With Ghost Quarter we can force the opponent to tap the enchanted land late game if necessary.
It looks pretty cool and well done. The style is similar to what Hearthstone and all it's trackers use.
Here are a few suggestions:
1. Make the website background dark. The white color really hurts my eyes and I believe darkmode looks more professional in general.
2. Change the card line to accept the following formats:
# Card Name
# Card Name XXX (XXX = Set)
# Card Name XXX F (F = Foil)
Card images default to last printing unless set code is included.
Foil simply applies an overlay on the card image. Similar to the ones used by SCG and MTGGoldfish
3. You could allow alphabetical and WUBRG sorting. Maybe even card type grouping.
4. Replace "built with VisualDecklist.com" with "VisualDecklist.com" left aligned.
Under the new rules, the back side of a DFC has the same converted mana cost as the front side. However, if you creat a copy of the back side, it will have a cmc of zero. Regarding interaction with chroma and devotion, the back face does nothing since it doesn't have mana symbols on it.
You have all these buffs it feels like your attacking creature would get chump blocked most of the time. I would suggest a continuous trample effect like Nylea, God of the Hunt.
Regarding the Burn match-up, which in my opinion is one of the hardest, I found that my only out is to play Kor Firewalker. I have never lost a game where this card was in play. Regardless of what they do they cannot generate enough burn before I stabilize with Rhinos and Finks. Their only removal is Path to Exile or a well timed Skullcrack after blocking with Kor Firewalker. In a diverse meta, the card can be useful against Burn, Zoo, Jeskai, UR Prowess, and Storm.
It actually doesn't sound like a bad idea to buy a couple JtMS when they are going for sub $60 on eBay. Lowest it's been in a while. While I doubt it sees an unban, it's still a good card to have around. Funny how JtMS wins this when other card are way more realistic unbans.
Welp, this might make the pre-release weekend awkward.
ehhh.... Everyone uses dice. I doubt anyone is going to have an awkward experience because they don't have a proper energy counter. If the print run was missing a Servo token then it would be awkward.
Hey guys, I need some serious advice. I'm thinking of cutting Lingering Souls but I want to know how people actually play this card... Everyone either complains about it being very annoying to play against or boast how it won them a few games. As for me, it's been mediocre at best (it comes out and simply trades with a creature or buys me 2 turns to draw something good) so I'm thinking of replacing it with removals or more creatures.
My deck is posted here and my meta overrun with Naya burn, Jund, and Merfolk with 1 or 2 Infect, Jeskai, and random homebrews every tournament. Naya burn and merfolk wreck me every time unless I draw my sideboard.
I have a few pieces for a similar deck and I might end up building one. Have you guys tried Servant of the Scale? It synergizes with hardened scales and the ability looks promising. It might be slow but I think it's worth testing.
I have a good feeling that we will see a Damnation reprint in Amonkhet Masterpiece set. It fits the theme, due a reprint, and would look pretty damn amazing.
What does the Masterpiece Series mean for reprints? Will we see less relevant reprints in MM17 and the like because we got them in a Masterpiece Series? I hope not.
These are stunning but I doubt I'd be lucky enough to get one.
In OP, why does he include Misty Rainforest with no green splash?
OP is old and needs someone to refurbish it. So many things have changed since it was last edited. I suggest you look at decklists from a few pages back if you are looking for more info on the deck.
