hello all fist time poster here in the bant eldrazi side. i have been playing titan shift for almost two years and have started play bant eldrazi over the past two months. my advise for beating the titan shift match up is to control their draws with displayser+TKS and attacking every turn for seven. drowner of hope is good but the damage is done once the titan gets the lands.

other thoughts on this deck. i would really like to test one copy of tamiyo the field researcher in the main. i think she really fits into what this deck is trying to do. the +1 is great for getting ahead in the creature grind fights and the -2 is great for clearing blockers and saving yourself if things get out of hand.

would running Eldritch Evolution be practical in this deck?

mainboarded obstinate baloth and/or solemn simulacrum can evolve into primeval titan.
further more Titan could evolves into a 1 of silver bullet. (/creature that says "i pwn this match up!")

I don't hate the idea. play it out and see how it goes.

How many KHE do you play?

So i have another CRAZY idea....what if we cut one copy of scapeshift? like the way twin sometimes only played three cops of splinter twin back in the day.
sometimes i draw to many copies of scapeshift and you only need the one. so with tireless tracker giving a way for us to draw cards do you think we could go down a copy to smooth out the draws?
just an idea let me know what you think.

I'm going to playtest a full playset of Tireless tracker in the main and see how I like it.

Abzan Company matchup in my opinion depends on how much interaction you run. Personally, between 4 Bolts 3 Angers and 3 Sudden Shock against them the matchup has been fine for me.

I agree with you on this. it's all about how much you can kill there creatures. anger main board is better for this matchup. But knowing what to kill and when is even more important.
For example, you can kill kitchen finks to give it the counter before the combo team is complete. This way your coco player can't use eternal witness to bring back what you killed and combo off anyways.
this is just a taste of what you can do to win the match. Honestly the best thing to do is playtest the matchup a lot.

I personally don't think messing up our mana base is worth running slaughter pacts, its really only useful against Ad Naus and that match up is terrible and a small part of the meta. By running a blood crypt main your risking your mana base green sources and your dedicating 4 SB slots to slaughter games which could be used to shore up the tougher but much more doable match ups like infect.

I replaced a basic mountain to add the blood crypt so i have the same amount of green sources. I'm only running three slaughter games in the side. and i moved two cop's of anger of the gods to the main deck.
I also removed Crumble to dust from the side board all together because i found that i never draw them on time, or it's not the reason that i win the match. I'll post a deck list so you all can see the list.
I have a PPTQ coming up on the 9th that i plan on going to so we will see how well i do with the splash.

@Dos_Rouge : slaughter games seem to slow in a turn 4 meta.

we are one of the few decks that can cast it on turn 4 consistently, if not cast it on turn 3.

i will be playing four copy's of farseek instead of explore to increase my chances of seeing bloodcrypt on time.

I'm thinking of playing one bloodcrypt in the main to splash three copy's of Slaughter games in the SB. what do you guy's think bout this idea? it would just be for SCG Milwaukee.
I'm tired of losing to ADD NAS and Ulamog from tron.

Hello everyone i finally can give a small report on my record at GP INDY. 9-6 over all with four of my losses on day two =(

round 1) Jeski blood moon Nahiri.dec 2-1 win
mana screwed game one and then i smashed games two and three

    round two) Jund 0-2 loss
i was playing bad in game one and gave a win away that i should not have. game two i had some very bad draws and just didn't pull threw.

round 3) 1-2 loss RG tron
one of my most fun games ever was our game one that i won. we both mull down to five in the dark and prey for a good game. i hit my land drops and topped scapeshift before it was to late.
the next two games was very bad draws and turn three Karn on the play will keep out most players....

round 4) (after listing to some music to get in the zone) Mardu Eldrazi brew 2-0 win
game one he didn't see any red and i thought it was eldrazi taxes but my titan just made quit work of him. game two i smashed with a scapeshift for en easy win.

    round 5) Merfolk 2-0 win
games 1 and 2 was pretty easy to ignore him and just scapeshift for the win. not a fast clock or disruption both games.

round 6) WB eldrazi 2-1 win
VERY close games all around but i was on bolt and anger main deck for the weekend and i was happy about it this round.

    round 7) Dredge 2-1 win
game one he had the NUTS against me. then game two and three his deck just fails to work and i run him over with scapeshift.

round 8) RG eldrazi 2-0 win
such an easy round it wasn't fair for him. game one i ran him over. game two he mulled to five on the play and you can guess how well that went.

round 9) jeski nahiri 2-0 win
he thought i was on the Threw the breach version and didn't play around scapeshift and only left up mana to path my titan that was remanded the turn before. so i punished him for not playing around the correct threat.
game two i just alogged threw all counter spells while making land drops. when he ran out of counters he tapped out to play threats but i had a scapeshift again.

    DAY TWO!!! 7-2 record.
round 10) UR delver 1-2 loss
very one sided in games one and two for both of us. in game three he saw all the counter and draw plus burn needed to win while making sure i didn't play anything good.

round 11) let the bad day continue 1-2 loss ADD NAZ
game one i was goldfished on the play by him...game two i played a turn four and turn five titan on the play...it's really good against them. game thee i just couldn't get enough pressure the pull out the win.

round 12) Burn 1-2 loss one of the P9 players and he was very good at burning faces off.
game one and two was very one sided with game three being the close game. i was one turn away from winning but he had the correct amount of burn to race me.

round 13)ADD NAZ again 1-2 loss
almost a repeat of round 11 but this time i scape*****ed threw a unlife that was in play and infected him out. he called a judge thinking that all the Valakut triggers resolve at the same time and that he should be at zero not dead. but i know how my combo works and the judge confirmed that i was correct. the next two games go about as well as you could expect.
    round 14 2-0 win merfolk
game one he had some really bad draws that anyone would loss with. game two however was better but he made the mistake of saving his sea effects for valakut and not my green sources.
i had two KHE with three counters on them that i didn't need to use so i saved them for later. i played a titan and got two valakuts and passed the turn. on his turn he go's to play a sea effect on a Valakut, in response i crack the KHE and deal 24 damage for the win.

round 15) Abzan COCO 2-0 win
i smashed him both games not even close.

Honestly what i am thinking of doing now is cutting the crumble to dust for graftdigger's cage in the board.
the tron match up is good enough that we can shave a few points off for other SB cards. the reason i want the cages is for the E. evolution decks that will be at the GP.
Jeff hoogland has been showing the power of E. evolution and i think it will have a huge showing this month.
