Hmm... there were plenty of people at my local prerelease, but we always seem to get people saying that Lorwyn is overpowered, which is ridiculous, but thats just what they say whenever a new set comes out. Mainly cause i get it before they do. Bweheheh....
I think it just means that in order to be proteced by the wall of hope, you also have to forfeit all that lies outside the wall. (even though this isnt really represented well mechanically.)
Ok, i didnt see another thread for this, so im posting it.
Why isn't there a Faerie Theme deck? I looked on the mtg website and there is a large faerie theme deck shaped hole where the other ones are! http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=magic/expansion/lorwyn heres the link if you want to look at it.
I personally like the Lose life and fear effects together, you make em lose craploads of life and then smack em with your scary creatures. tis a win win i say.
ok, say i have two seperate effects that trigger at the beginning of my upkeep, like Razormane Masticore's damage dealing ability and Squee, Goblin Nabob self-necromancy, which would happen first?
The problem with a debate like this is that one side will always be a bunch of republican george bush loving christians who opperate on nothing more than (blind) "faith". The other side, however, will be resonable beings, (usually) that are incapable of understanding why another being would have their opinions so based on the "firmity" of something that is in reality totally baseless. So this is the real answer to this threads question. God and (insert name here) would be playing chicken and neither would die because the other guy would keep on driving down the highway without anything happening because god is a figment of mans imagination. Huh. Its like, you collide with something that doesnt actually exist. Which of course, is impossible.
For something that supposedly doesn't exist, God sure seems to have you ticked off. Oh, and flame infraction.
Should infinity exist, there cant truly be an omnipotent or an omniscient being, simply because with the rules applying to infinity, there would always be a greater being, thus neither of which would be either omnipotent nor omniscient, simply because there is another greater being, and another still, for eternity. That is of course, if youaccept the validity of eternity.
Ok, so here is my ideas on what the cards connected to the artmight be in the Countdown to Tenth Edition 2 article. you can read the article at http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/feature/409. Feel free to post your comments or ideas!
EDIT: Im not entirly familier with Turbofog, anyone have a link?
