Thanks for all the advice guys. I've been playing late nights on MWS to get my mind off of things and and watching reruns of Mythbusters. 2 more days and I'll be in Hawaii.
I've been going over our itinerary and making plans during the trip to get my mind off of everything. I went for a 3 mile walk/jog over the weekend and a daily 1 mile walk every afternoon. I sure can use the exercise.
I've never really been able to use Haunting Hymn MD. I may put one in the SB but not MD. I know how good it is but I really have no need for it MD with my Meta.
LOL @ the masticore comment.... i can bet that was in EVERY deck....
BTW anyone seen frank Karstens online report Teachings comprises 20+ percent of the format... Just to point out you know. Also one very very big difference between affinity and goyf... goyf can be run in 85 % of the block decks currently around.... affinity was affinity only not any variations to really speak of... currently theres EVERY color combination of goyf possible seeing play.
It was in every deck. And then most Extended decks at the time. Then everyone SB Powder Keg to deal with it. Then Powder Keg went MD.
It's funny how the correlation it almost spot on because at the prerelease, and for sometime after, people thought Masticore was a HORRIBLE card. "I have to discard a card EVERY TURN? Not playing THAT."
Same for Tarm. Very unloved early on but once he caught on its crazy.
I am very happy with this list. 2 Bogardans works wonders. Cast 1 then tutor up another. GG. I've found that I've been using Imp's Mischief more often than I thought I would. Rebuff the Wicked is awesome against other Teachings decks and stops Tendrils along with LD.
I know she's going to say yes, we've talked about marriage and have all our plans set. It's just the fact that I'm finally going to propose that's keeping me up.
So last week I bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend. She has no idea and I'm going to propose on July 15th while we watch the sunrise at the volcano crater in Maui, Hawaii.
I've been a nervous wreck since getting it though. I stay up late and can't really sleep at all.
What should I do to get my mind off of things until the 15th?

Thoughts on my version?

I like Tarm. Sure he can be abused by other cards:
Turn 1 Flagstones. Cycle to Edge and Cycle Street Wraith.
Turn 2 Forest. Tarm 3/4.
Turn 3 Griffin Guide for a 5/6 Flier.
But you can deal with that. It's not broken, just a very powerful card. Slaughter Pact in response to Griffin.
Or Temporal Isolation.
The meta is diverse enough that many decks can deal with him and there are enough cards that after SB he's not so great.

Late night games on MWS help a little...
