if there are other Phyrexian planes wouldn't they have their own fathers (or mothers) and preators and plans for the multiverse? i honestly beleive that each plane so infected will try to recreate all that was and what to come and can't really communicate between each other spread out on other planes that they control until they have first contact between each group.
as for why tezz was sent. he could be there to destroy the father, collect some oil, and capture anyone that is immune to the oil so that bolas can create a weapon to use upon his enemies that can't do harm to him and his most loyal as well as to see what type of information is imprinted upon the oil (as we all know that the oil remembers history of the phyerian culture) and what bolas can use to advantage.
as for a villian free-for-all (love to see it happen), we already have that in the making on new phrexia with the different mana preators. unless they can either steal or create portals to other planes for them to destory or convert. as for bolas/phrexian/eldrazi three-way bring it on as we really don't have any major group of walkers step up to the plate to take on the three (small groups yes but not large ones and they are locked into small battles on different planes). beside bolas might have plans to use the other to to gain the power that he need to regain his former glory.
Technically it's not carnage so much as perfection. The Phyrexians want to make the world perfect in their vision, and Geth let them use his home as a base in exchange for a new body.
(I still bet that he will try to betray them though)
In the beginning it is all about the carnage as they are trying to instill fear into the people of the land which will help them convert those that are left a lot easier. just watch chronicles of riddick for a example
the phyrexians was around long before there was a Yawgmoth. they used who ever they could corrupt as they went along. he was just the figure head like the president of u.s.a.
it isn't like they couldn't remove the 'creature' from the reminder text and have it do the same thing. besides there are more cards to come in the next 7 days.
well if they do bring him back at some point in the future wouldn't that be really nasty fight between Bolas and Yawgmoth to see who can rule the planes.
i think that they have been hinting at his return since garruak and liliana web comic. besides it would give a reason for bola to send people there to investigate what was going on and by whom.

also i think that Liliana is the choice for Yawgmoth if he was to return (but that is another discussion for another time).
