but i noticed that redirect spells n stuff is often less good than it seems.
so mostly of all. will this enchantment still change the target of a single target spell even when the new target is invalid? naturalize or counterspell for example.
or can it only absorb creature pump spells and removal spells?
(edit) just looked it up myself to understand it a bit better more... yeah okay once again spell target changing stuff fails again.
o yeah another small thing. is true-name nemesis resistant to boardwipes? i believe he will survive any damage based boardwipe like starstorm but i am not sure about for example damnation for the same reason hexproof does not provide protection from boardwipers

but the other player responds with his only answer which changes the target of a spell. something like wild ricochet(ignore the copy spell part
the counterspell has no other target to be changed to so the player makes the counterspell target his own response spell.
now what?
also side question, you know how sometimes you cast a spell by accident and the wanted target is invalid but everyone is like: well than you have to choose a new target you already cast it. and that happens to be your own stuff? is that true? or are you allowed to let the spell just fizzle like if there was no target at all?
for politics reasons in multiplayer games but also to for example stop your opponent from attacking.

and you want to show your hand because people are saying: hey we can see all each other's hands... what about yours? GET HIM!!!
No matter how he's ramping, the best plan is to prevent him from getting to the mana to cast the eldrazi rather than try to answer the eldrazi themselves.
though that is true it is not the complete story imo. again from what hear the main cards are it that betrays, some 15/15 worm that splits up in 3 more 5/5s. that eldrazi tutor/cost reducer, wild pair and ofcourse much more nonsense.
so ideas that are in my head are right now name removal and enchantments that give everything -2-2. beutiful thing is that the viashino heretic has 3 toughness.
The two cards work the same (except for the flash on Dictate). Both are not ideal against It That Betrays, since he gets control of what you sacrifrice, even though the annihilator will be dead before its triggers resolve. But he won't get those cards in time to sacrifice to the Dictate/Pact, if the sacrifice is due to the annihilator ability.
no i mean that the sacced cards wont even reach the graveyard as they come onto the field on his side instead.
also interested in the viashino heretic and shattering pulse as those are in the colors trending amongst card ideas here.
ack may need also white or something for the enchantment removal though...
so something i am noticing is there are not alot of creatures... may also need something to actually end the game...

also got an idea myself: a permanent that gievs all creatures -2/-2 as this will block many mana ramp creatures. including eldrazi scions.
also, does anyone know re-occuring artifact/enchantment removal? i think that would really take the cherry on the cake
also instead of tappers, i have a 1R1W card that says t: target creature cannot attack or block till end of turn.

something that stops bs enchantments like wild pair and sunbird's invocation
something that stops them stopping me from stopping their *****(yeah probably read that sentence twice). like them plaing uncounterable or hexproof stuff.. the deck will need that spyglass and lighthouse land that removes hexproof
last but not least, something that stops bs ramping like sol ring (altough we all made him very clear sol ring goes 1 step too far, especially 4 in 1 deck)
he also does other kinds of big late game monsters as early possible with for example dragons and a dragon that gives 5 mana when he attacks
i know rush decks counter this strat very well but i already have such decks and kind of just want to shove his face in the dirt when he already has his ***** on the field to be like: ha you got you BS cards on the field and still you lost. suck it!
also if someone knows a deckstyle that counters decks tht destroy creatures and make you discard non-creature cards.... help me plss another dude who imo actually plays fair just made the most evil deck and im scared i will be seeing it alot more often

however, my card store is far away from where i live so i rarely go there. i usually play other places with friends.
so should i just buy some kaladesh and revolt packs when i am there, wait for rivals
or wait even longer until dominaria arrives? ofcourse you guys arent wizards either. but what would you pick?
i will note that i am a big fan of the older fashion cards, i have always liked the cards from my old mtg 2015 toolkit tyhe most though sadly i have lost most due to the event of my first card trade, which as you can imagine... went badly. so if dominaria is that route i will give it some extra points to buy packs from that set. i slightly dislike basically all current standart legal sets. merfeolk mehhhh, mummies mehhhhh, vehicles ehhhh? innistrad... oh F*** that set i have never had so many bad cards from a set as innistrad, it can die in a hole.. only good came from it is the commander decks.

well my commander basicly says: whenever unused mana is in your manapool, you may save the mana to use in a future step or turn. rendering mana vault completely usseless

this is a remake of a quite crappy thread i made earlier, first thread and all.
so i am wanting to create a commander deck with blue and green. the deck is also euh, hypothetical. it is an idea. i don't and for a long time won't have the physical cards.
i do have a possibly pretty thight budget of 100 euro
now for the rest i am no very good deckbuilder
but i do have a general idea of how the deck should work out playing.
i want some good manaramp first of all.
strong, cost efficiënt creatures
and also a few good control spells like temporal adept 73 cents and plasm capture 35 cents
i also have interest in doing some of those fun spells like MindSlaver 4.40 temporal mastery 4.00 as foretold 7.00 defenitely going in as well.
also have my eyes on. also elite arcanist 0.40
possibly telepathy as it would help me to know where and when to save a counterspell for?
also clones might be usefull and/or fun.
that is basicly all my ideas that would be nice in the deck imo.
also to note. the other 2 i play with on a regular basis both have a saskia the unyielding deck(a.k.a many many super strong creatures and much much damage). (yes... both... and yes... i know)
and one of those to is extremely buffed with cards like iroas, god of victory in it. the other one is stock though.
i also look mostly look negative towards the evolve ability

pronlem is that one untaps ALL creatures and lands, also your enemies. and i need my lands untapepd i don't give a ***** about my creatures

i think that Kruphix, god of Horizons 6.50 is a good option as my commander
