I mean they sent the real cards to stores and expect them to be quiet for 20 days? Should have started earlier the spoilers.
Uh, do you know how business transaction works?
A company send stores products ahead of time precisely because the stores agreed to NOT broadcast the details online. The spoiler season is postponed, yes, but they're still obligated to keep their mouth shut till further notice.
Not to mention, this leak person is posting auctions online on those cards, THAT is a clearly violation and exploitation of trust. Even if he's just a worker at a distributing site, he's still required to not leak any info, let alone selling them for personal profit.
and literally none of that matters. Wizards sent the cards with a preview date of Oct 12th... then they delayed it for 2 week. It's incredibly naive to think the cards that other people now own wouldn't get leaked on the original preview date. Just how the internet works.
If only this same outrage about a few cards was used to pressure Wotc about jump start we may be able to use those cards. For all the screaming about secret lair cards being unobtainable here we have a real product with some of the legendaries pushing 100$ and also being unavailable outside of the usa yet I don’t see thousands of posts on reddit or YouTube about that.
I don’t like walking dead in mtg but at the end of the day they are cards, just like every other card. Artificial scarcity is a problem beyond Rick.
Wow, bad hydra is bad. No evasion and loses power and toughness every time he fights. Rather just have an 8/8 that atleast heals damage at end of turn.
Its labeled as an "action rpg" which means probably some kind of hack and slash. I wouldn't get too excited about some massive in depth world based game like MMOs from 2006. Those are games that basically no one wants to make anymore.
While they don't actually administrate either Commander banlist, it probably irks them that every commander deck they print is duelcommander-illegal out of the box and if they can conveniently change that (by no longer jamming Sol Ring in every deck, but replacing it with a card of comparable demand and utility), they might.
Probably 0 decisions revolve around asking “what about 1v1 commander”?
So at 20-25 bucks a shot for Collector's Boosters we now have the $500 Booster Box (assuming 24 per box). I believe Rudy from Alpha Investments guessed this (or was tipped) and spoke about it on a video a few months ago.
Greed much Hasbro?
I'm guessing the 100 dollar "MSRP" Super Duper Timmy-tastic Collector Ultimate Booster PACK will be out by 2021 at this rate.
Not really greed if a segment of players want these special cards. It makes sense to me as one of the only ways to keep people buying your product is by offering cosmetic differences to players so they feel unique. Fortnite has made a large fortune for Epic doing just that.
It doesn't affect anyone's ability to play the game and people who want it can buy packs to get cooler looking cards.
cards like Grindstone are still legal in commander
Because who cares, there are plenty of other two-card combos in EDH, Painterstone isn't degenerate
Milling one opponents entire deck in one turn isn't degenerate?
But that is already a thing with RIP+Helm, and that combo is eldrazi proof.
White isn't exactly the big mill color. Painters servant can go in phenax without effort as it already has leyline of the void, helm and often grindstone. I haven't even seen Iona in years so I really don't get why they ban something years and years after it was an issue.
I wonder how many painters servants the big stores had ready to sell. Seems like such a bad idea to unban it unless someone wanted to make a truck load of quick cash.
Only way id buy these is if they were cheaper than than the normal version. I get the artist was trying for a certain style...but that style looks pretty awful.

Yup and regen works too
