My favorite magic card has got to be Char
Char was probably my first, but not nearly only, bad trade in Magic
Back in Ravnica, I went to the release, my first ever, and pulled a Char.
Most players would be happy with that, but not me. In my innocence, my instinct was "A spell that does damage to me? That sucks!"
Little did I know the power of Char, or even realize just how much removal matter in Limited.
SO, of course, the first thing I did was trade it away, for something I can't even remember. Probably something like a few commons that I liked the look of. I was had. But I don't mind, because it made me realize just how un-skilled I was.
Now, of course, my skill has increased somewhat (although I will be the first to tell you that I am still no good), and I have grown to love burn, and my favorite burn spell of all time?

werent the wishes from Mirage?
im guessing 4 new ally color wishes will be in Lorwyn, following the pattern of Glittering Wish from Future Sight (that is, searching for something other than a card type, perhaps a creature type)
why exactly does it "need" to be like that?
we're all entitled to our own opinion, and since this is speculation, we cant be sure who is right
personally, i feel that she will definately have some kind of direct damage ability, it would be very odd if she didnt
he's a 3/3 flyer for 4, that basically cant attack on an empty board
he clears blockers, and is good with CiP abilities
insane is, i think, the best word
dear god, it's spelled Vespane
but besides that, i mean come on, Swamps with lilypads is just too cutsy
hopefully, though, Shadowfall means we get some steampunky, Steamflogger-Bossy type atmosphere
I like the Light//Dark references, but lets not get carried away by thinking that this is a ZELDA set.
i mean, come on
you've got as much of a chance of there being a final fantasy set as there is a Zelda one
The rumor was sent to me, and said that an artist drunkenly spilled the beans on doing a new art for it for 10th. Seems rather specific to me.
However, there was NO new art, and it doesn't fit anywhere, and the individual with the full checklist confirms it as out.
Lotus Noir, if it said anything about the Piledriver, (no confirmation on the wording of the article) it was because of our site having it in the spoiler at the time.
There is no confirmation or information pointing to a tribal theme. Do not hold your breath.
(Yes I am very biased, I really do not like tribal themes, I would like to see an enchantment block, which looks much more likely at this rate, and is something I keep hoping for each year)
there may not be any pure evidence, but there is certainly a very strong feeling once you put everything into place
There is a new type in Lorwyn, which will almost definately be tribal, since we have it in Future Sight and since no one has any good idea about what a planeswalker would actually DO
Secondly there is a noticeable trend in sets as of late
Urza's Block- Artifacts
Masques- Bad
Invasion- Multicolor
Odyssey- Chaotic
Onslaught- Tribal
Mirrodin- Artifacts
Kamigawa- Bad
Ravnica- Multicolor
Time Spiral- Chaotic
Lorwyn- Tribal?
It really just all fits together once you think about it
Besides, Mornigtide sounds more like an enchantment anyway, maybe that'll be your Enchantment Set
