"Frightening smug prick"? Maybe she should take a look at what Glenn Beck is. That dude scares the s*** out of me with some of the crazy stuff that comes out of his mouth.
I wouldn't tell that to your friend but if you don't want to lose her as a friend I would try to steer any conversations away from political views because people can get really riled up about that stuff.

Apr 9, 2008WUBRGspellsMagic posted a message on Listening to music keeps getting harder for meThis probably won't solve your problem, but I found this cool site called pandora that lets you choose a band and then they create playlists around that artist and artists with similar styles, plus it's free! But yeah, that prolly wasn't the answer you wanted...Posted in: Cabalwannabe Blog

This is exactly right. Few people understand the Shroedinger's Cat experiment that is Faith Vs. Science. The truth cannot ever be observed without ending the experiment (which in our case is life/existence).
So you listen to Creed and Nickleback very often then?
Anything off the album "40 oz to Freedom" Sublime.
"Snow (Hey Oh)" The Red Hot Chili Peppers
"Loser" Beck
"Electric Feel" MGMT
"Float On" Modest Mouse
"More Than A Feeling" Boston
"One Week" Barenaked Ladies
Almost anything by Jimi Hendrix
"When It's Over" Sugar Ray
Those are specifically "Feel Good Songs" and just a fraction at that...almost all music makes me happy in some way or another.

If target opponent has controlls a Sliver permanent you may Fateseal 5 instead.
Although they suffered many casualties at first the mages of New Daru soon began employing vedalken countermagic against the sliver horde.

Mistmeadow SkulkEdge of AutumnName: Ma'yot
Age: Looks around 23
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Height: 5’ 11”
Weight: 155
Appearance: Ma'yot is of average height with a muscular build and aristocratic features. He is always wearing clothes of the highest quality and holds himself in the highest opinion. His fingers have numerous rings of high value, one of which appears to be a large signet ring except the signet has been all but burnished off and to the untrained eye it is but a wide, flat, gold ring. He usually reacts with anything between boredom and disdain toward anyone below his station...unless they have something to offer him, in which case he can be extremely charming.

@Nis: this has nothing to do with you personally, your post was just the most recent on this thread.
First, contractions are not a style choice. They are, in fact, improper grammar. They are acceptable in day to day communication because speaking without them in English makes sentences long and somewhat haughty. One does not use contractions in professional or scholarly papers or situations. Second, one always capitalizes after a semi-colon, but one should also use the term "one" for conditional statements. Third, you missed quite a few commas, throughout your post.
This whole paragraph has poor syntax, so attempting to correct its errors in punctuation and sentence construction would be pointless. For the record, however, one should not begin a sentence with the word 'or.'
I do not disagree with what you are saying though. I believe that using single letter words is absolutely ridiculous. Spelling, punctuation, grammar and word placement are essential to communication. Sadly, true grammarians are becoming more rare as proper language skills become less important in our culture. [/soapbox]
I now have the mass of matter we call "cheese" in my possession.
