I don't think its strictly just a Western thing. I'd argue that the presence of Angels in Ixalan recently was equally offensive if we take a similar approach. Aztecs don't have claim to Judeo-Christian mythology.
After their forcible conversion to Christianity, I think they have plenty of claim.
I'd rather have an angel forced on to me than having my throat slit by some shaman dude because it's the chieftain's birthday -

There's some baggage the word Tribe carries when referring to groups of people, which is largely what it's used for in Magic.
Exactly, words in different contexts mean different things. But the context here is "a group of Magic: The Gathering cards that mechanically care about a specific creature type". There isn't even an implication of painting indigenous real-world cultures in a negative light. So why are we erasing its usage in ANY context, just because it has ONE negative connotation? -

it Saids “equiped creature has” this is particular with that discover 10 (aka Strictly better cascade as if casting a 11 cmc)
Can the cost get reduced with stuff like Biomancer's Familiar, and Zirda, the Dawnwaker?
if the answer is yes I definitely need to make room in tazri' stalwart survivor, it has the lorwyn untap cost creatures so they can be used to go infinite with the whip and their own abilities (you need a Kinnan effect though)
Yes, the creature has the ability so the cost reduction does apply. -

I don't doubt that for a second and I will probably cast this as often as I can when running green. Seriously, turn one land + dork into turn two 4/4 troll, netting you 4 devotion to green? That's pretty damned good.
I just like to make fun of "dies to removal" which shows up a lot here.
