I reckon that Ulamog and Kozilek aren't 'dead': since the Eldrazi are sort of 'one entity' with the titans representing fingers, I think Ulamog and Kozilek (whatever they are) are part of the still 'alive' 'Emrakul'. After reading the Art of Magic the Gathering: Zendikar book, the descriptions of Ulamog and Kozilek seem to be congruent to the art clues in SOI. The 'eyes' that are typical of Kozilek, have shown up, the magenta-to-blue tentacles of Ulamog have shown up, and how they show up is my biological mutation, which Emrakul 'specialises in'. So, the 'elements' of Ulamog and Kozilek have joined (even though they are part of one entity) to the Emrakul titan. Smile
Also, as was probably mentioned before, the lattice-pattern is typical of Emrakul, as well as the gravity-warping ability of Emrakul (which the Moon is usually attributable to, because physics.)

  • posted a message on Eldrazi hat
    Hello,
I'm not sure if this has been brought up before (I did a search of 'wizards play network' and nothing came up later than 2008). I was on the Wizards Play Network marketing page looking for some papercraft to waste my time on when I saw "Eldrazi Hat" as a downloadable papercraft. Interestingly, it's placed with the other downloadable Shadows Over Innistrad materials (such as papercraft lantern). But on download of the Eldrazi hat, it says "Battle for Zendikar". So then I started to look for the Hedron papercrafts from a couple of months ago but could not find the "BFZ" section of downloads (hoping it was just an error).

So is this more speculation for Eldrazi in the storyline? I mean it's just an aesthetic thing, but it looks like one of the Innistrad captain-hats that are present in the artworks of Innistrad. Also, is the Eldrazi hat new? And if not...why is it still up with the SOI stuff?

I know it's early days but what is the reason for using the generic 2 instead of the C in the SOI spoiled Expose Evil

EDIT: sorry, I was talking about the Investigate mechanic and how in the reminder text it's 2 and not CC. I thought that this was the 'system' from OGW onwards

EDIT AGAIN: I thought about what Ebontail said, and yes, it makes sense Smile

    Why are there 12 copies?
When Twinflame is cast, Precursor Golem A has the trigger, and so does P. Golem B. When the triggers are put on the stack, decisions are made for targets and there are only 5 legitimate targets (p. Golem B and 4 tokens), so when the first set of 5 copies resolve there is a copy-p. Golem B,4 copies of Golem tokens, and (ETB trigger),2 golem tokens from Copy-P. Golem B.

Then, the next set of 5 copies occur, then twin flame.

Ending up with 2 original P. Golems, 4 original golem tokens, 8 copy-golem-tokens, 2 copy-p. golems, 4 ETB-golem tokens from copies, one more copy- p.golem from original twinflame and 2 more ETB golem tokens. And the copies will exile at end step...

I think the phrase 'whenever you cast...." is important:
