Because for some unknown reason this site doesn't have a NEWS section. And the Rumor Mill has become the defacto NEWS section. It would probably take an admin or mod about 5 seconds to create one. My guess is they don't want the job of moving news threads to a rumor thread and vice versa. I'd give them a PM. But I've veered off topic. Back to this Hullbreacher "rumor".
I would like to second the change from "Rumor mill" to "NEWS Mill" and the "Unfounded rumors" section becomes the "Rumor mill".
That being said Hullbreacher can eat a ban for all I care... so does Narset. And if social contract would solve everything we would need no banlist at all.
Obilterate is a good social contract card. Many people do not like it, but it isn't inherently broken. So you can discuss, if you group want to play with it or not.
Also I would really like to see an update to the rule 11 that gets rid of Companions and a Lutri unban.
d12
1-12: the result on the die
13-20: NA -> roll again
Spindowns can be used as d20, but only if you are not playing against a cheater. (Don't play with a cheater)
Also this is for commander, so its fine. It random, this can be pure enjoyment on the table.
As a Legecy or Vintage player I would be less then thrilled however.
That being said their will be guaranteed some addition to the tournament rules that you need to bring randomization equipment or risk a DQ.
And if you play at the kitchen table, your opponent obviously decides the result if you don't have a method to bring an RNG.
Yes he goes infinite with those as long as you do not complete Tomb of Anhilation.
And those dungeons do infact cause life loss.
This sounds like ton of salt in commander.
I just realized that you could overbuff the Dragon as an opponent. So if your opponent starts to buff this guy as soon as the firebreathing that pushes the thing to 20 goes on the stack you can throw something else in between like a +1/+0 or whatever. This way the ability hits 21 and the secondary effect doesn't trigger.
Hand of Vecna is serious fun with Mordenkainen, but on Vecna it is a bit underwhelming... I mean it is large and indestructible. But without some evasion that doesn't do anything... In blue I can put the hand of Vecna on a random bird and have some serious threat going.
I assume he is traveling incognito. But yeah... honestly his titor could have cone for monks in general. Would have changed the card from gimmiky to actually worth something.
That bein said. I like the modern card look better but even I get nostalic with these.
Also why the hell is there a The Monarch marker? Does anything in that deck actually makes you the Monarch?
Edit: Found it. It's the Skyline Despot.
