love the call back, wish that it was a 5 mana 5/3 or at least turned into a 5/3 with delirium to make it more of a mirror. Still, I love callbacks to limited only cards.
probably because of limited. As a common, they didn't want it to have the power to two-for-one the opponent easily if they go to attack (e.g. attack with an x/1 and x/2, cast this to kill former and block with token on the latter, using its death ping to finish it off.)
wait... aren't the cards themselves the primary medium of the story? Therefore they inherently cannot "spoil" anything since we are encountering them as they come out. Sort of like how you can't say that a movie "spoiled" the story of the novelization of said movie.
