Anyone else getting flak for playing this deck on mtgo?

I played (tried), a few games today with the UG turns deck and everyone I played either conceded after they saw a turn spell or beaked about how it's not a real deck, then conceded before I even started chaining turns.

I have the same issue when I play tron. Is it normal for people to bail when they see a card/deck they don't like?

But all the hatebears are creatures so they trigger sisters and can be tutored with company. Voice is really good with sisters. Witness, should be no question since push is the new removal. Thalia and kataki are good.
They all trigger sisters and all are tutorable.

I think a toolbox sisters deck is the best route. If you check out the sisters thread you can read about all the hate that's wrecking sisters. I think your idea with company is smart and that by adding the toolbox (creatures) you would be more interactive.

    Has anyone tried noxious revival?
I have one MB for testing and I'm very happy with it. Haven't learned all the tricks but being able to put a card back vs surgical is fun. Returning snappy or tas/angler is good. Great against GQ when you need that mana. Makes dropping your life total easier/more reliable and faster.

On the bauble topic, I ran a full playset and expensive as they are, visions/sleight is better if draw is important, currently trying 3/2 split of sv&soh.
However the information it provides can be relevant. Thoughtseize and bauble same turn gives you an edge, you see what they have and what they are going to get so you can plan better.

Sorry guys, I think the lily comment was directed at me because of another thread, Im not a fan of lily either even though I play 8rack. Not a big fan of goyf either, have just one more I'm trying to trade off. Conversations for another thread.lol.

I will agree that karn is worse turn 3 than lily.lol

I have an issue/gripe with top cards being out of range of so many players, I feel like new players are getting the short end of the stick because they will never get these power cards and will forever lose to those decks.
One karn, lily or goyf is more than all twelve urza lands.

These cards are big dollars, never see a ban. Probe sees a ban and kills infect, a unique deck at that. I hear all the gripe about how it's never the big dollar cards that get hit. For new players they could afford infect which is probably why so many new people played it, other than the lands it was very affordable and they could compete.

Urza lands I think are good for new players too, they can build a deck that can drop some bombs for cheap like desolation twin or something out of the 25 cent bin.

Banning the urza lands takes away a new players chance of a decent deck at a fairly low price for the power level.
I don't think that's right, as much as we like the game with all our power cards we still need the new blood.

Managed to get in a handful of games today both online and in paper.
E.Tron was a good pairing I think, I really had fun with one person, they had good answers but in the end I was bigger and had witness/T&N vs their topdecks.

Kiki and worldspine is crazy good. Jund DS had me game one, G2 and G3 were mine thanks to Kiki. G2 it was the only card left in my hand with only a satyr on board facing down goyf and something else so I played it.
Next turn he plays second goyf, swing for like 12 or something.I draw T&N,entwine, grab pelakka and worldspine, tap Kiki copying worldspine and swung, they conceded once they realized I get the 5/5 trample tokens when the tiki token dies.
Had another game where I was being attacked by beast and human tokens,a populate deck of some sort, and won that easily in two.

Merfolk had me game one due to poor draw after mulligan to five. I needed one more turn to stabilize but a few life short of another turn. Then, when after SB I knew I'd beat them they conceded the match on me.(drawbacks of mtgo).

Abzan druid,it's a race (I won), they have little to stop T&N.Hold beast within until they try to combo and snipe a piece when they tap out. Don't get greedy and tap out if it's in your hand.

Affinity, they didn't have the nut draw so T4 T&N after T3 garruk and titan was GG. Game 2 I felt bad, they had one mana, I beast within-ed it and they never saw another.

So far I'm very happy with the MB. I still have a hard time knowing my keeps and mulligans.

I've been mucking around with this BUG version and came across temporal extortion as another turns card. The problem I see is it powering shadow decks if they take the life loss.
With urborg, tomb of yawgmoth it's a turn four warp spell though.

Edit-Pulled the deck out, here's where it's at so far. Still WIP.

I don't know if I should switch the leylines for scavenging ooze in SB.
The third beast within in the SB should be something else but I don't know what.
Ratchet is handy but narrow. Can definitely be swapped.

MB things are good, I tried arbor elf before birds and am happier with birds. I might try voyaging satyr in its place so chalice on one isn't so bad.

Narset is actually very easy to cast even needing white.I had stony silence in the SB for a bit and had no problems casting it turn 2 either.

Garruk helps with early ramp and later provides creatures for the beatdown strategy.
Ramping while having early interaction is powerful and allows for T3-T4 warps which is a nice change.

I feel it needs Jace,(maybe a second), without dictate.
I tried ancestral instead of serum first, still haven't decided what's best.

Witness and exhaustion are in the same slot, trying out both. I also want to try courser of kruphix in this slot.

The lands I haven't fine tuned yet since I'm still messing with the MB so much still.

Sorry for the super long post guys.

Legend said it perfectly about the balance of the urza lands.

Memory lapse made a good point too about what people think when they hear "tron" deck, I agree that I don't think of e.tron or mono U tron either even though they both use the tron lands. I played mono U for a long time and assembling tron isn't top priority, its much slower.

Would tron be so hated if it wasn't for turn 3 karn? For the most part I feel that's what the issue is, not the lands themselves. Ugin, ulamog, emmy, all these huge threats are turn four or more.

Instead of the closet you can use saheeli for the same purpose.

I'll try a worldspine wurm here today. I think with Kiki it could be quite positive.
I won't SB choke, thanks for testing it.

I've said since the release of the new eldrazi's that they were to overpowered with temples and eyes, they banned the eye but it wasn't enough. The deck is a pain to beat soley because of temple, if they had to assemble Tron rather than hit a single temple they wouldn't be nearly as fast. Magic screwed up when they created the eldrazi's, didnt look at the big picture enough IDK.

People wouldn't hate tron so much right now either if it wasn't for temple, all the "tron" hate is actually temple hate.Eldrazi tron is actually eldrazi temple that happens to use tron lands as backup.

Eldrazi tron doesn't even care about land tutors, they want a temple in their opener.

Aethelianmage, I will keep beast within in, very good points.
Rec sage, I didn't even think of it, its a SB in my elf deck and it completely skipped my mind.

What about a few copies of choke?

I also have a playset of summoner's pact that I haven't figured out where to squeeze in. Idk if it's even needed. What do you think?

    My SB.

I like the toolbox theme as you can see but there's a few cards I'm torn on.
I want to pull a revelrey for something, maybe a spellskite?

I like what beast within does but I'm not a fan of that token they get, that said, I've also gotten value from hitting my own land for a blocker. Maybe swap it out for heroic intervention or fog.

Chewer is there for bridge locks mostly, platings, chalice, vial, and the like.

I think thragtusk is unnecessary. No idea what to replace it with. Maybe another ballista or a worldspine wurm although I think the wurm is better MB.

I still MB two TBR (no terminate MB) and was going to cut one to try pulse of the forge. Has anyone tried it yet?
I thought it could be feasible even with its high cmc since it's almost a guarantee it'll come back to your hand and can target myself for shadow in a pinch(condemn)

I think he made a smart move by using non-artifact cards, the hate out there is really bad and having some answers that aren't shut down by stony or bounced with hurkyl is smart. All of those cards he chose were effective in one form or another, I think having a few non-artifacts that cost more than one cmc is something to look into.

Just my opinion,I'm still using baubles though so I might be behind the times.lol
