Just grabbing for something with the Necropede. You can hopefully 2 for 1 a Steppe Lynx & Geopede. And its not a good target for their Bolt. Sideboarding is pretty similar to before, except with the new U/W/r Caw-Blade with Collar/Sparkmage combo:

    -1 Viridian Corrupter
    -3 GSZ
    -1 Acidic Slime
    +1 Eye of Ugin
    +1 Garruk
    +3 Nature's Claim

Something like that. Will just have to feel it out. Haven't had any time to test against the new version of the deck. You want to leave in the Wurmcoils because they are strong against Day of Judgement and also the Collar/Sparkmage combo.

    D

if you are siding out the corrupter and the slime in the cawblade match, when are u siding in the 2 slimes in your sb, what match? Thanks again man

I am on the fence about adding hornet stings. Is it worth sbing.
    Seem great against cobras.

Who feels good dealing with a Rug match? What would you do against Bug/Rug, If I have no all is dust I am scared :-(

The boros match does seem rough, not sure how to play it without all is dust, but all is dust wasnt that fantasic.

I know I will see a few ww quest... kinda afraid of that too

    anything else anyone>?

Will be playing FNM tonight and have tweaked my SB some. Played 10 postboard matches with a friend playing Boros and went 3-7 with my original SB. Just a tough matchup. Here is my new SB for tonight:

necropede, sir.. please give me ur sb in and outs again since u added the magnets and the necropede.

Also, I assume ur main deck stayed the same?

What are your good opening grips? What are your first few ideal plays.

I gotta keep mugging for answers.. You have the results!

    wow, so many options

I want to get everyones last opinion a few topics

Can we beat lotus cobra... at all?

    main deck:

    1. Are we running any all is dust, seems really too slow.

    2. WHat are we doing against all is dust?

    3. How many acidic slimes main deck?

    Side board:

    1. Walls of Tanglecord? Tumble magnets? Whats the best guys

    2. Hornet sting? Do we run it. I am pooing in my pants thinking about fast cobra decks.

3.Garruk, is he a side board staple?

I see so many side board plans, anyone else want to give me their sb in and outs for certain matches. Im excited about this deck and edison but still iffy.

GL to all see you in Edison

Unfortunately that's not the case anymore as questcry is pretty standard, or signal pests. Destroying quest/armor only is half of the battle, as when I'm playing Quest, you're looking at flyers to the face. Glint Hawks, Skyfishers, Signal Pests + Contested War Zone make it more like a traditional WW deck than the combo that is Quest/Armor.

Tumble Magnet is pro though. Stall with it, set up an all is dust (or go off), hope they overextended. Emrakul, Ulamog, Titan, Summoning Trap. Point. Shoot.

the build here in discussion doesn't run all is dust. I just got used to saying goodbye to mine and now heres a reason to keep it. Opinions?

    BUG RUG, any ideas?

thats great, just the game plan I needed to get a better feel for things.

how does your sb plan against aggro change with this new style board.

Also would you treat ww quest the same as boros and kuldotha in terms of sb plan?

What do you think about Gaea's revenge. I am still concerned about bug/rug control being an issue.?

I can't wait to break swords in half all day

I would probably make the following changes to the SB:

After giving Thrun vs. Garruk more thought I felt that I would rather play 2 Garruk instead of a 1:1 split. This will usually force the control player to spend counterspells on Garruk so that later and more powerful threats have an increased success rate of resolving. In addition Thrun can be easily chump blocked with a sword-carrying creature.

Ok, so against caw blade you are putting in the 3 claims and the 2 slimes and magnets or walls? What comes out in that match? I keep asking because that match is a real horror show for me in testing. Trying to get as much tech as I can. Caw-blade plays so different form regular control its crazy. Regular u/w or u/b I feel great against but the swords make me queezy.

    Thanks so much

    Carlinms,

If you could change things now, such as add the fog and the tumble magnets, what number would you put in and what would your new sb look like after these changes? Thanks so much for answering my questions earlier!

Can't wait to try this out friday and saturday....

    lands are colorless as well

i found a turn 1 stirrings got me a nice land for a sure explore drop and when i was playing the chalices and all is dust it got me quick dust against aggro, however in the build we are all discussing and the proliferation of artifacts, stirrings loses too much luster to warrant inclusion.

Haven't been following this thread much but I played Mono Green Eldrazi at the SCG DC Standard Open this weekend and went 7-2-1 and placed 35th out of 695. My deck was the following:

The best card for me all day was Tectonic Edge. It absolutely destroys the Caw-Blade deck. I went 6-0-1 against it on Saturday. Being able to keep them off lands while you ramp is crucial and a huge tempo swing.

After reflecting on how the day went, one card I would definitely want to change out is Ratchet Bomb. This card is mainly in there for Kuldotha Red, Boros, and other fast aggro decks. However every time I played it, it seemed too slow for what I wanted it to accomplish. I will want to try Tumble Magnet in its place and see if it does any better.

I'll happily answer any thoughts/questions about my deck and choices I made or sideboarding plans.

I love drazi green and have played it for several months now. my build ran different than yours but is going down the same path. I originally ran a pack of 3 ancient stirrings, 4 chalice, + 3 All is Dust. Alli is dust seems really weak now and I changed things up to be similar to your list. I love the corrupter and the acidic slime and the fact that you run no all is dust lets you run the spasms as well as the zeniths/traps.

    I have a few questions:

    1. I would love to see how you sideboard for the classic matches boros/caw blade/BUG & RUG and Mono Red. Side boarding is my weakest skill and would love to see how you would do things and how tumble magnet would work into your game plan

    2. Did you ever find yourself missing all is dust or a big sweeper.

    3. What did you tech edge the most in the caw blade match?

    4. How do you handle a deck like vampires or infect as I will be playing in Edison this weekend and know that alot of NY/NJ kids will be in those early rounds with the decks that can ruin the whole day.

    5. I have a love affair with terastodon and seem to find his ability to come in off an early trap to bust off an opponents manabase. Tell me why he is not good, so I can say goodbye.

Love the deck man and can't wait to sour the day for men with foil swords galore

    Guys,

I need some input. I been trying mono green builds and they all seem to get smashed to mono red. I am either going to feverisly scramble for Fetterer's red build tonight via men.... or I play a variant of green like this. Many things can flex and the SB is obvi wide open. My goal this states is to have a winning record, and be able to play a spoiler in the 4th or 5th round for a dreamer

I like this decks cute factor, I found it on mananation. The author is not sure of 3 or 2 monuments and the potential of adding some jace sculptors or beleran for spice and jace on jace kills.

What do you think? Is it a fighter or should I drink Kool-aid and go Mono RED with the boys?

Stroms I wish u have the ☺☺☺☺☺ Fear Stone Cold shirt as me an DMX will be repping Team ☺☺☺☺☺ Fear.

@ Stromgald, gimme your deck list, you may have posted earlier and or did not look, I am posting from my unsmart phone

    DA DECK.
