I suspect the answer is the same, but the scenario is 1) activate Peacewalker Colossus ability to make Colossal Plow a creature, 2) declare Plow as attacker, 3) cast Armed and Armored, to make Peacewalker a creature and 4) attack with Peacewalker. I see the problem as being that an instant was played after the declare attacker step was over, so it is too late to declare an additional attacker.
OK, so earlier today my wife had a Colossal Plow and a Peacewalker Colossus on the battlefield. In her hand was an Armed and Armored. She activated the ability of the Colossus to make the Plow a creature, then declared the Plow as an attacker and used the mana created by the Plow's attack trigger to cast Armed and Armored, making the Peacewalker a creature, and then attacking with the Peacewalker. Is that legal? It seems somehow to break the rule that all attackers are intended to be declared at the same time (or do I have that wrong?). Thanks in advance.
Does a card like Ingot Chewer *require* that an artifact exist in order to be played as a creature? Similarly, does Wispmare require an enchantment to exist? The wording doesn't include the "may" word.
While playing casual with my wife, we got all tangled up with rules issues during a single combat phase. It went like this:
My wife has a single, tapped Oketra's Avenger. I attack with two creatures, doesn't really matter which. My wife casts Act of Heroism and the Avenger is now untapped and blocking both attackers. Question one: who decides the order of combat when a single creature blocks multiple creatures? We rolled a die to resolve the question and played on. My wife next casts Djeru's Resolve with the Avenger as the target. Question two: is the untapping mandatory, and if so does that remove the Avenger from combat? Or does it essentially give the Avenger vigilance? Or something else?
Let's say my opponent casts Noxious Gearhulk, and chooses to target one of my creatures for destruction. If I respond with Blossoming Defense, does my creature survive, by virtue of Hexproof? Does my opponent get an opportunity to target a different creature, or does his ETB effect fail?
So, I have a creature enchanted with Grasp of the Hieromancer. I attack with it and tap a Leaf Gilder. Did I just put a green mana into my opponent's mana pool?
I'm trying to understand why Zendikar fetch-lands are so expensive. I know it's been discussed before, but I'm specifically interested in why the "enemy" fetch lands are valued so much higher than the "allied" fetch lands released under Khans of Tarkir. I thought decks built around "allied" colors are supposed to have more synergy and therefore be stronger ... no?
I have a Valor in Akros enchantment in play, and a couple of creatures with no counters on them. I then play Patron of the Valiant. How many +1/+1 counters end up on the creatures?
