It's more likely Bloodforged Waraxe or Battleaxe than Bloodstained. OP probably read Blutverschmierte instead of Blutgeschmiedete. Makes more sense as well, as you forge new axes out of the blood of the opponent you just hit. Making it dirty does not lead to more axes being handed around.
mb its a thing that its not possible. since tokens never can have any mana symbol. so its impossible in the world of magic to create a card which creates tokens which have mana symbols. and since thats impossible, thats the explanation why they dont count as devotion for himself.
First of all - you seem to have failed to understand that the post you answer to was intented to be humorous.
Secondly: Tokens with mana costs are impossible? Who knew? (Tokens that are copies of creatures with mana costs naturally have the same mana costs. Now if only there was a way to make tokens that are copies of creatures...)
- Jon Finkel's creatures don't have to tap to attack, and his lands don't have to tap to produce mana.
- Every time Jon Finkel taps a land, a woman has an orgasm.
And women all around him are now sad... (unless he plays lands with activated abilities other than mana abilities.)
So yeah, as the title suggests, I have two questions: First being if there is a restriction of how many phenomena a planar deck may have contain, as I'm imagining that I could just throw all 8 Phenomena (two times each) into a planar deck+let's say Grand Ossuary, that way each roll of the planar die would result in all players drawing 6 cards, trigger all other phenomena and guarantees the repetition of this with the next roll (as each roll is chaos and Ossuary planeswalks after chaos). Now play 96 lands and 4 Fractured Powerstone.dec and mill everybody. Or guarantee you stay on a specific plane. Or other tricks.
My second question concerns Jund, although I think I know the answer: A creature with Devour X and Devour Y won't have Devour X+Y, I assume (as in, you cast a creature spell, which naturally has Devour while you're on Jund)?
Wouldn't you rather exile/re-enter (read: untap) the Pod, so you can instakill your Angel again for whatever 5-mana-dude you wish for (and that's in the deck)?
Or Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake/Faeries and a Karoo. This obviously won't work in pauper, due to rareguy over there, but in, say, EDH or wherever.
^^
Trying to use this outside EDH or limited would be like trying to train a 3-toed sloth as a pet
Now I want to do this! (The pet-thing, not trying to use Jar outside EDH.)
Also, yeah, should cost less to nothing to activate. I'm not sold for this spider-fascist.
Do Undying creatures get reborn without eyes? They will miss every strike!
this is what i thought when i saw undying. no strangleroot geist for my ghave deck...
No? To me, he still seems worth the spot, considering that now everytime he dies, you pay 1, get a Sapro and he didn't die that much... Not overpowered, but I think it's cute enough. But I'm hoping that other Undying stuff will come that fits the colors.^^
Now lets go back a step and add in a little spice to this card in constructed mill. You have access to Sword of Body and Mind. Because you're swinging on turn 5, you can untap, play this card and swing in for 6. If they take 6, they mill 16 cards and you gain a wolf token + any creatures you milled become zombies for next turn.
Sorry guy, but a sword ain't a good thing to wield by a brain-eating monstrosity. You know, he doesn't deal combat damage anymore, so all sword does is giving protection and +2/+2. Well, not bad at all, but neither is it great.
And about the issue that a single wrath kills all you've done with the guy - you know you most likely are playing blue? In the Grimgrin thread every third post was how you could just counter your opponent's removal. Impossible here?
Btw, they both work great hand-in-hand, don't you think? Grimgrin kills stuff that would be bothersome as a blocker and Alchie gets him tokens. Sweet.
He's essentially a 7/7 for 5 mana if you can untap and swing with him, which isn't that bad. This guy has potential, that's for sure. Especially in EDH, I bet he'd make an awesome commander. The one thing that COULD go wrong is that you might not be able to attack with him if you don't have a creature to destroy, meaning if he's the only thing on the field...well, yeah. Anyways, he seems good, that's for sure. And like someone on the first page said: Reassembling Skeletons, HOOOOO!!
Well, why? You should almost never (meaning: never ever!) be the defending player when you attack with Grimgrin.
Really? Maybe I should be playing Standard before I complain, but is an evasive 6/6 that erases the opponent's board each turn not good enough to be played? Because it costs one lousy mana more than the only cards that seem to be playable (Titans)?

Ican't get it in. Seriously what goes where? o.O
