The internet has no real relevance to anyone's real life and never should.

    It's the internet.

    ???

What about all of the people who use it for work? Even this site, a mtg forum, is serious because people talk high level strategy about decks. Just because some people go to sites that arent serious doesnt mean the whole internet isnt serious.

Id probably commandeer a signet if my opponent was mana screwed.....

Or if i just wanted to be annoying before I won to laugh at him! HAH!

Otherwise i agree that losing that many cards is bad for just +one mana.

I see this line the internet is serious business used so much on these forums but always sarcasticly. Why is this? The internet is serious business! Think of all the stuff that happens on the internet every day. All kinds of people use it even the highest ranked government officials and the president to convey important messages. So why is it sarcasticly serious business? You guys are prolly the 2nd highest looked at mtg site, you should take yourselves seriously! This site is mega important to the mtg community and lowering yourselves like this seems stupid. Why is this and dont you guys agree with me???

Everybody was telling me that Durkwood Baloth was surprisingly the right first pick, but I'm still not convinced.

Your not crazy for thinking baloth is worse then penegreen (or penewhite HA). However Sedge is clearly the best card and the easy pick plus you can force slivers.

Snow basics are good for bluffing but too many times my opponent has randomly had a 1x Rimefeather owl. It depends on where you play but if you play at fnm youll find somebody with some and if you play on the pro tour some japanese dude will be playing them and pwn you. Its only safe on the ptq level!!!

You were in the wrong here IMO. You have a job and you are working to do that job. You flatly disobeyed orders. If you worked at my job I would fire you too.

Besides why should you care about somebody you dont know like that. Its even worse to put your job on the line because of it.
