Meh I used to be a believer of the trickle down enconomy until i realized that there is a huge flaw to the entire system. It would work fine if the companies who got the taxcuts used the money to invest in the US economy. Well that was true about 40-50 years ago, but now not so much. Investors now use the money that they saved from tax cuts to invest in other countries like China and India. Which basically means none of the money saved by the taxcuts actually create jobs for us Americans.

Actually Creationism and evolution can co-exist in the form of Flying Spaghetti Monster. We in the Church of Flying Spaghetti Monster believe is created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster. We are also supported by many top scientists around the world. Prove me that Jesus isn't the son of Flying Spaghetti Monster religious people?

I really like the lastest version of g/w goyf. it completely cut griffin guide to sideboard. it uses 4x maideck calciderm and 4x maindecked sunlance

I love reading random posts especially the ones about bad traders since i love seeing how events happen and unfold. I had a little time thinking about the current rules on trading and spotted some faults to them. Im sure I'm not the only one, probably not the first to point it out either.

    here are two problems:

first is as long as one doenst uses Dc, the other can just say he never recieved and thus might be getting free cards since rule is it is sender's responsibility to replace the cards

the second fault is "Dc is savior" idea because Dc dont actually prove a thing. A player can techincally send a mail with nothing in it but blank paper or anything but send it with Dc.

those are 2 faults I spotted with the current ruling system of trade, even though most traders are truthful and responisble. Isn't this worth watching out for? Or is this just a common risk for trading online

yea mikey is right. my board is similiar to his board. i hate playing a card that just destroy enchantment or artifact.

2 disenchants is a must in the sideboard. take possession really hurt this deck. i also tried cloud krestal in its place since i really like the fact that u get a creature with the same effect, but the mana for krestal is pretty hard and several games agaisnt u/b control. i actually disencahted a factory token ftw a few times and it could randomly mana screw a relic control deck

    A few things:

    1. Extirpate targets Careful Consideration without a second thought. All their other Teachings targets are nowhere near as good with no cards in hand.
    2. Aven Riftwatcher is reallllly bad in this deck's board. I'd just board in more creatures and make them answer them with their burn. It's basically the same thing. If you don't put a clock on red, they'll just draw their burn and win anyways.

i agree with the first point. if careful consideration is in graveyard i would definitly hit that first i mean if they dont have careful consderation u would want to hit that teaching. one or the other as long as they cant find or play careful consderation we win. but agaisnt rdw, aven riftwatcher is a 2-3 for 1 in our favor. i mean it gains 4 life. they cant attack with warmarshall. u can even race them with it. and the late game is always urs. this deck pact tarmogoyf+enforcer so our creatures r just bigger. and we ahve 6 answers maindeck agaisnt their gargadon(3 temporal+3 pact)

i might play the rack in sideboard against like teachings or korlash control maybe, or against like mono red because it empties its hand so fast

u dont need those. howevery agaisnt u/b teaching decks. u do want some extirpate to remove those mystic teaching. i really hate it when i discarded their whole hand and they come back with a single mystic teaching for a careful consdieration

agaisnt mono red, u should just board in aggro hate like tendrils+aven riftwatcher

most rack decks have crappy kill conditions, so rack is there to push throuigh damage since it works well with discard. this deck have great kill coniditions tarmogoyf+mystic enforcer

love this deck, it has the tools like discards to crush control while having cards that kill aggo too in board. it also doesnt bend over against g/w like many other discard based decks

Mono red is surprisingly easy. Desert can easily stall their atacks. there have been games were at turn 5 im still at 20 life. willbender+shapeshifter is the best combo against them, u pretty much win. willbender alone its a 0 for 2. versions with bloodknight(not very common anymore since people tend to use warmarshall+marauder as their 2 cc) is a bit more annoy. u cant really block it until u get brine elemental or teferi out. but serrated out of board will make it all fair.

afterboard, the matchup even with word of sezing is about 60-70 in ur favor with 2-4 serrated arrows+4 willbender.

Mirror match, I take out all except for 1 brine elementals. I take out willbenders. i put in spellbursts(my version have 3 in the board) and serrated arrows(used to kill their morph). brine elemental, u never want to flip it or play it cause ur oppoent can leech off ur brine with their shapeshifter. u only play it if ur absolutely sure ur safe and u can get the lock on.

i replciated the gpt deck that won at a 50+people gpt. the only thing i wasnt sure about was his removal package so i left it at3 slaughter pact. (not sure if he run 2 or 3 call to the netherworld)

call to the netherworld is an extremely powerful card. it works really well with both mindlash and smallpox. Agaisnt control, turn 2 augur. turn 3 call(reutnring and playing augur). turn 4 sac augur+ maybe a funeral charm or stupor that play kills control or u cqan just do turn 2 augur, turn 3 stupor. but most game they r gonna be down to 1-2 cards by turn 4 and rack kicks in.

tombstalker works great with smallpox and all ur cheap spells. since u can play it turn 4 with ur oppoent have 2 lands and 1-2 cards

this deck won a 100 people+ ptq. temporal extortion is needed for most mono black decks cause its a 4 mana timewalk or a 4 mana 7 points of burn

a mono blakc rack deck won one of gpt sf i attended(it was about 50+ people). the deck run augur, mindlash sliver, epochcite, stupor, and funerial charms. i didnt get the exact decklist but it crushed most control decks

  • posted a message on Legacy replaces Extended at Worlds
I actually don't like the news as much. Legacy to me seems more like a money/card format(does reuqire lot of skill to play and lot of research). Extended fit its role in Worlds very well. it has a huge cardpool allowing players to be creative(locket combo, varient of lightning angel decks showed this) but it doesnt force the player to not eat for 3-4 month to get a decent deck since im sure not every1 who quene for the worlds have a legacy deck. Another reason i like extended better, is due to the fact that newer/seminew players can associate themselves more to extended since they probably have seen some of the cards when they first started playing.

but on the bright side- 2 headed giant draft will be more interesting than regular drafts
