If I copy a creature with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and make a copy of the token with Rhys the Redeemed, does the token created by Rhys need to be sacrificed at the end of turn?
Well, I haven't updated this thread in a while, but I've been working on some revisions to this deck in the last few month or so. Some of the newest additions have been simply amazing so far. Most notably, Avenger of Zendikar was tailor made for this deck, and is Kiki-Jiki's new favorite toy. Then WotC printed Avenger's other best friend, Primeval Titan. I haven't tested her yet, but Elspeth Tirel seems promising. Anyway, below is a list of all of the most recent additions.
The addition of Elspeth Tirel prompted me to add the Knight-Captain. Honestly, I don't know why I wasn't running him before; he has amazing synergy with so many existing elements of the deck, and adds a touch of strategic defense.
I think Sneak Attack will work a lot better now; since the addition of cards like Avenger, Titan, and Wurmcoil Engine.
Asceticism replaced Privileged Position . Being able to regenerate my creatures in response to Elspeth Tirel's ultimate seems good.
I added High Market to take advantage of Hazezon's errata.
As always, my list in the first post contains all the updates.
Goblin Ruinblaster would be a good addition too. I just put him in my Wort deck and he's already helping. Recursive LD for Gobbos!
Yes, he is certainly useful, and I would not mind finding a place for such an effect, but I think I would prefer Goblin Settler for that purpose, simply because it doesn't require a kicker (which makes it better with Goblin Wizard, Goblin Lackey, Warren Instigator, and Moggcatcher).

I would love to see a 1v1 version of this. Ive been playing for a few months now and just got into EDH and i really like your deck idea.:D
Thanks, this has always been my favorite EDH deck. I honestly don't think I would change the deck for duels, except perhaps to add a bit more artifact & enchantment spot removal (maximum of 1 or 2 more spells). I've always considered putting in a few things like Orim's Thunder and Dust to Dust. I've had Disenchant in the deck in the past, as well as Shattering Pulse and Allay, which were excellent, but got cut at one time or another.....in fact, they're so good that they'll probably end up back in the deck one day......buyback is amazing in EDH, and you can play them with Sunforger! (edit: and you can pay the buyback when you do....)
Aside from that, the deck fares rather well in duels for a number of reasons:
1) Brion gets rolling on turn 4, if not earlier. Having a low CMC General is always nice in duels.
2) You have lots of spot removal for creatures, which lets you swing in freely (possibly with their stuff).
3) Great mass removal to reset the board.
4) High-quality bombs to drop after said resets.
Anyway, you get the idea; the deck has tons of removal, and great creatures that will get the job done after you're finished killing their stuff. As I said, perhaps 1 or 2 more spot removal spells for duels, but that's about it. As always, I have no idea what I would take out of the deck......
I am just proxying this up to play, and I was wondering why you didn't include a Spinerock Knoll in this deck. With how much damage Brion or any creature in this deck can do directly to an opponent, it seems like it would be really good.
I've tested it in the past, for quite some time actually, and just never liked it. It could be great, but it never really worked for me. Take out a mountain for it and test it - maybe you'll have better luck with it - let me know how it works out!
Looks like a good start. I started to go with a 'stax' theme in my Rofellos deck, but I've found good old fashioned land destruction to be much more effective. I combined removal spells like Reap and Sow and Mwonvulli Acid-Moss with lots of Regrowth effects. Check out my Rofellos list to see what I mean; Here's a link to the thread.
^^ Totally agree with the suggestions above; Finest Hour turns Prog into a "one-hit-and-you're-dead" general, and the hasty stuff lets him come out swinging for a faster kill. Gratuitous Violence works along the same lines....
I would drop one of the lesser draw spells like harmonize for a Stroke of Genius. Also, drop a few of the weaker counterspells like Remand and Vex for better stuff like Desertion and Time Stop (both are great for EDH).
Thanks!

Good Luck everyone, and enjoy the deck!
Good suggestion, and very flavorful.... I'd like to find a place for it in the deck.
For now, I think I'm going to try taking out Beseech the Queen (since I just added Cruel Tutor) for Stingscourger; he seems worth testing.
It would be fun to put him into play at instant speed with Goblin Wizard :sneaky:.
..........and then copy him with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker :sneaky::sneaky:
