So I made this deck for my love of Gisela, Blade of Goldnight
But tired of Boros being a second-rate beatstick, I made into a pillowfort deck that wins by burning people to death with Gisela's double damage ability
It is a really fun deck if you want to sit there and watch people slowly die, people try to kill each other, or dropping massive burn damage in an instant.
Burn, burn! BURN!!
With Gisela on the helm, you can effectively burn people to death in commander
With cards to slowly lower them down such as Pyrohemia, Sulfuric Vortex and Manabarbs Fault line to throw all your manas into, or boardwipes. Zo-Zu the Punisher with Settle the Wreckage and to punish heavy ramping players.
Manabarbs and Burning Earth is absolutely brutal in multiplayer. Spellshocksurprisingly damaages people a lot. People are A LOT more willing to play spells and get damaged than manabarbs. People underrate how it slowly kills players, manabarbs often get removed ASAP but not spellshock
Reflecting Damage
Some of your damages are towards creatures, but it would be even better to reflect it back to their controllers Repercussion is an all-star, a lot of time i kill people not expecting all their creatures reflect twenty damage back to him. Stuffy Doll, Boros Reckoner
I wish there are more and better kinds of these cards
You defend, and you burn. I am not going to write an essay on all the combos and synergy, its really straightforward
But not to your opponents, they never expect a pillowfor Boros!
I wouldnt go for a ban, though i have many gripes with this card
I would never use it because
Green is already powerful enough in removal
I dont get its ability with its art.... like why does it does destroy noncreature permanent? Because its big and heavy and steps on them? why not on creatures? why lands too? then why does it leave 3 elephants? Like, its ability doesn't make sense
its like almost every green deck, though there is a lot of cards are in almost in "whichever color deck" for example, phyrexian arena, sun titan...
I have been in receiving end of being used ruthlessly so i do get annoyed when it being used in whatever ways nowadays
Natural Selection isnt that bad.... at least it isn't overcost, actually an instant and does something outside of its colorpie.Looks more like something blue or red for chaos shuffle.
Give me lairs 100% of the time over transguild/spire or even evolving wilds and teramorphic expanse.
There is no way setting yourself back a land permanently is better than Rupture Spire. The lairs are just straight terrible. The only reason I play Rith's Grove is because it's a Rith, the Awakener deck.
How come in no way? I like the lair lands since it fits a nice niche.
lair lands can bounce a land back that is tapped for mana or ability, then the lair can be tapped immediately.
Rupture spire reduces 1 mana in the first turn
Lair adds one more mana in the first turn, and then the second turn, it is the same as Rupture Spire unless you have another land in hand.
Or can use for to bounce ETB lands but generally they arent useful. But lastly, it is decent in landfall decks.
Ancestor Dragon wouldn't be bad if it was legendary and fit in a mono white weenie deck with alternative life alternative win, archangel of thune and so on.
Its the only card I am going to get just because of the sick art, and i like collecting dragons
I have a scion of the ur-dragon tribal deck without combo . And if someone is going to use Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund as commander, i am going to switch out. I rather not play something completely counters me.
However, if someone comes in a powerful 100% deck, all duel lands, all foils, tier 1 commander say Derevie, stax and death. Since I don't have any decks in similar level, at least i should pick a deck that can have some chance to win by design and not necessary power level.
Yavimaya Elder
Like Solemn Simulacrum, its pretty slow for its mana. Although the card advantage its great, 3 cards for 1. I find getting two lands into my hand is generally weaker than getting a land in battlefield tapped when i want to ramp.
I guess a good thing is the 3cmc means Sun Titan can really work well with it
I don't get the hate against return to dust, exiling 2 cards, repeatable with sunforger too, is amazing especially in my environment heavy on enchantment and artifact combo/recursion. Yes, its costly, but Im removing 2 things that is probably going to cost more than 4 mana anyways.
Doubling season
No doubt, a great card, but because of how big of a target it gets marked and removed. I find parallel lives sufficient most of the time, and 1 less mana
Ran this alongside Warp World in Hazezon Tamar, which was a deck exclusively devoted to ramping like mad and then making a million tokens. It usually turned out well for me. This usually goes over a little better than Warp World because it doesn't punish people playing permanent light decks and the self exile means it's less likely to happen multiple times of the course of the game. Fun card all around.
I haven't tried this in my Hazezon Tamar deck, it does seem better than Warp World. Not having free creatures/artifact/enchantment coming in makes sure Hazezon Tamar comes out top.
I think Dromoka, the Eternal is impressive enough just as a 7 power attacker from the command zone. It's a niche role that other G/W generals don't present.
True, thats a 3 turn clock for the first player, and even shorter for other player
though slightly outside of color, rather use Vorosh, the Hunter , better color and more powerful
I missed the last one, and I will just comment on both
I simply love Dragon Broodmother, its an engine all by itself. Its one of those cards that is powerful enough to threaten or stabilize the board yet not too powerful that will get removed instantly until the opponents realizes it.
I wished it was legendary so it can be a commander.
I use it in my Hazezon Tamar deck, it is the only 1 of the 2 cards that are flier in my deck(admonition angel is the other one) provides plenty of tokens as resource/chump blockers
Wanderlust
Beautiful art, guay is amazing... but disappointing effect for 3 mana, i mean 1 damage? maybe 3 at least would make it worthwhile... Its not really green color ability so i guess thats a plus?

Defenses and Pillowforts
Being white, you have the traditional defensive cards such as Ghostly Prison and Solitary Confinement
Some odd ones like Peacekeeper and Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker
Lands such as Ice Floe and Maze of Izth, also Mystifying Maze if you want to add that in too.
Red also provides a bit of defense with Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs and smoke
Burn, burn! BURN!!
With Gisela on the helm, you can effectively burn people to death in commander
With cards to slowly lower them down such as Pyrohemia, Sulfuric Vortex and Manabarbs
Fault line to throw all your manas into, or boardwipes.

Repercussion is an all-star, a lot of time i kill people not expecting all their creatures reflect twenty damage back to him.
Stuffy Doll, Boros Reckoner
I wish there are more and better kinds of these cards
Sunforger, Boros' Redeemer
Sunforger kit is amazing, remember to get Mistveil plains and Tithe to abuse it
Comeuppance, Aurelia's Fury, Arcbond with reflective damage you have above can suddenly end games.
Settle the Wreckage is a new card I added for instant boardwipe
Teferi's Protection and Orim's Chant are protection cards you can instantly tutor to save yourself.
Ramp.....card draw?
Being Boros, ramp and card draw but there is some new and old cards to use
Magus of the Balanceto make it more balance
Boreas Charger
Thawing Glaciers, or Isolated watchtower, I am trying to find space for both
Weathered Wayfarer, get your Boros Garrison Temple of the False God and your defensive lands
The Immortal Sun I don't have planeswalkers.. but I am considering adding Chandra, Bold Pyromancer
Oracle's Vault to dump your mana, and then get free stuffs
Sun titan and Sunforgerare technically card draw cards too.
Anyways, its a pretty easy deck to pilot.
You defend, and you burn. I am not going to write an essay on all the combos and synergy, its really straightforward
But not to your opponents, they never expect a pillowfor Boros!
huh.... a good card actually.... 2 mana only plus cantrip
so many utility land in edh anyways
I would never use it because
Green is already powerful enough in removal
I dont get its ability with its art.... like why does it does destroy noncreature permanent? Because its big and heavy and steps on them? why not on creatures? why lands too? then why does it leave 3 elephants? Like, its ability doesn't make sense

oops nevermind, i thought Vaevictis reveal until the first permanent.
2 crappy new dragons
2 crappy reprint dragons....
Its the only card I am going to get just because of the sick art, and i like collecting dragons
