Though Jace has been in the lore a lot, he isn't actually in BfZ yet... Like no strictly Jace card. If they leave him out of Oath, then it MIGHT be okay...
Yes we are going to one of the most popular settings according to Wizards, yes it is much faster than other sets, yes BFZ was a bit of a letdown, but come on. The fact remains that we still have Oath to come out before we even start hearing about SoI. I am honestly hugely excited because I missed out on the first Innistrad. I just hope they still keep the great tribal theme that Innistrad had.
When Germ attendant enters the battlefield, for each artifact with Living Weapon, put a 0/0 germ creature token into the battle field equipping that artifact.
I'm very pleased with Ezuri. I was hoping for infect but darn!
Honestly, Ezuri is more of what Simic entails. All the major Simic cards from original Ravnica to RtR were token producers and manipulators. He definitely is a perfect example of the reason I love simic- to make little dudes suddenly gigantic killing machines of awesome.
Combo I'm super stoked about? A mid game Biomass Mutation. Hey everything is X/X PLUS the tokens I put on them. That 5/5 1/1 with 4 tokens? Yeah he is gigantic and even more so due to Ezuri. Plus he is a passive general and only seeks to accelerate the deck instead of have it be built around like Vorel of the Hull Clade. You could run a number of UG strategies with him in the lead.
Very happy and probably has my money already.
My numbers may be off, but there's about 17 infect cards you can run with this Ezuri that will increase the number of experience counters, of which Ezuri can buff to dangerous levels.
My sadness isn't that Ezuri is bad with infect (on the contrary, he is incredibly good with it), but moreso that Ezuri didn't have infect himself and doesn't directly affect it.
Based on past examples of the recent Blue aligned Phyrexians, they mostly use small creatures and find ways of abusing the form they are in. Green aligned Phyrexians instead prefer survival of the fittest.
In keeping with Ezuri's lore, after his perfection he continues doing what he did before: keep his people alive. Since elves in New Phyrexia are kind of the wimps of the plane, he is trying to find ways to make his people better to survive the coming presumed continuation of the Evolution. As blue, he adapts to the surroundings, and as green he pushes his people to be greater and also to keep in line with his old roots.
I think that Ezuri's Predation actually does fit into the flavor, as the old Ezuri would have used swarm tactics like that, and is very green because of it. Though the card does not synchronize with Ezuri's card itself, it definitely is a testament to the Phyrexian he has become as well as a good judge of his power now.

Ezuri, Claw of Progress fits perfectly into the UG tokens\squirrels\polymorph deck I always wanted but could never build because there was no suitable commander for it. Acorn Harvest gives FOUR experience counters! Can't wait!
Dear sweet Urza on a pogo stick...
Squirrel tribal would be absolutely insane in UG. There just hasn't been a commander for it... until now...
All hail our goat tribal overlords

Still more stoked for Ezuri than Meren, but that's just me.
Oh my god, please say there are 5 new Magus' in this block. Magus of the Wheel has me drooling so hard. The first cycle were so cool.
Now we are working with instant/sorceries! So stoked!!!
Germ Attendant - 1BB

Maybe throw in something about Geralf and Gisa? One becomes a planeswalker (My hope is Geralf)?
