A remark on sideboarding: remember that in games 2-3 if you're on the draw, then it is a correct option to sideboard out a land. You will hit your lands count with +/- the same probability.

Interesting. Is that for decks playing 22 lands or the 21 version? Do you lean towards a specific land?

I don't mind going a bit deeper on black, specifically for Kolaghan's Command, Brutality & Pontiff.. Siege Rhino is well, Siege Rhino and the added disruption in the board feels sloppily put together but he was probably looking to test a mix of options?

Other than that I think the list looks decent... But messy.

Agreed on the SB. I'm not sure a ton of hand disruption is useful in chord but I could be wrong.

Luda, I play the pretty standard chord list but going back down to 4 tutors feels lacking. I'm thinking about adding Fauna Shaman. I know you use it regularly so I was wondering if you could give some insight on its usefulness. How often has it won you games? I know you run your own unique version but I'm thinking it could be powerful card in the typical build as a fifth tutor.

I tried evo for a while and I really like what it did but a remand or mana leak felt really bad. I went back to my chord list and have been having more success recently at FNM. I have tryed out a similar list to the one Hoogland got 1st at a classic this week and went 3-1. Nothing feels better than snagging scapeshift with a Brutality. Hoogland streamed yesterday with a more black version (http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/live-testing-kiki-chord/)adding Siege Rhino (which I loved in my evo list) and some more hand disruption in the SB but it seemed on his stream and the few matches I got in with it today, you end up not having enough red and Kiki or P&K is stuck in your hand. Nor sure I'm a fan of it. Thoughts?

If this has been discussed I can't find it, so my apologizes if that's case. I'm curious if anyone playing the blue (non-nahiri) version of this deck has tried Jace, VP in the deck. When Ali Aintrazi first played the deck he ran a build with it and said it was pretty good but I've not seen it show up anywhere. Looking for input if anyone has tried it before I drop the money on the card.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. While I expected a large portion of the decks at the PPTQ to be Bant Eldrazi, it actually ended up being scarce.

    Here's the list I played.

    Round 1 - Mardu Aggro

Opponent was playing Young Pyromancer, Bob, and removal. I was able to outvalue him and Pontiff kept the tokens under control.

    Round 2 - Ad Nauseum

I got lucky and he kept a slow 6 in game 1. Voice Evo'd into Pia and Kiran followed by Pontiff off the top was able to secure the game. He won game 2 as I kept an OK hand and drew nothing to help. Game 3 was similiar to game 1, I got a fast start and forced him to use a Pact of Negation on my Chord for 2 so he couldn't go off. Had lethal for the next turn.

    Round 3 - Jund

My opponent didn't have green sources in either game early and my creatures got there before he could stabilize with green mana.

    Round 4 & 5 - ID into Top 8.

    Top 8 - Eldrazi Taxes

Game 1, my opponent had 2 early Path's and was able to lock me out with Eldrazi Displacer, Wasteland Strangler, and Flickerwisp. Game 2 was a close game down to the end with my opponent topdecking a Path to Exile when I was able to assemble the combo.

Overall I was happy with the deck. Kambal performed far past my expectations. I only put Filigree on the field once, and he was pretty good, I'm willing to keep trying him. Archangel of Tithes was a poor choice for the day mostly due to what I faced. I'm likely going to replace the Overgrown Tomb with a 2nd Temple Garden. My next event is legacy so I'll be focused away from modern for a little bit. I'll try to keep up with updates in the thread here though.

@SlowLNF What matches are you bringing in Elspeth and Thalia? I love Elspeth as a card but haven't ever sleeved her up because I have not come up with a match where she's better than the one of Nahiri I run. I have contemplated Thalia in my meta due to all the big mana decks I play against where I think she'd be have an impact.

@RuistheBeast i agree with Spooly, Delver is too inconsistent in modern without spells like brainstorm and ponder to help set it up for early flips. Also the deck runs too low of a curve to fight decks like abzan and company decks reliably without cards like wasteland to help prevent the opponent from casting spells. This is coming from the creator of the current Grixis Delver Thread. I put all i had into that deck and it just wasn't strong enough to be Tier 1 playable. Put delver in the Twin deck, and Delver becomes even worse due to our 23 lands to start out with, and the lack of pure cantrips and spells to make young pyromancer more powerful. I can see it maybe helping vs the new eldrazi deck if you don't have delver but instead something like goblin guide or something else instead of the delver, but i can see pyro being a card vs this eldrazi deck.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried running it a few games and that's the conclusion I came to. I hade trouble flipping delver and both it and Pyromancer usually died before I got any value from it.

I seen this list (http://www.mtgtop8.com/event?e=11193&d=263611&f=MO) that I assume runs a transformational sideboard to UR delver. Any thoughts on it? I just recently started playing twin and this seemed very odd/interesting but maybe it's just old tech.

    SIDEBOARD
    2 Anger of the Gods
    4 Delver of Secrets
    2 Pia and Kiran Nalaar
    1 Shattering Spree
    1 Shatterstorm
    1 Twisted Image
    4 Young Pyromancer

I'm new to the forums and somewhat new to affinity. I attempted to access this link (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=464775)under the tricks section from the first post but it says "forbidden" when I click on it. Anyone know why? I couldn't find an answer anywhere.
