My friend is building a deck that looks like its got some potential as a beat down deck. He uses Nacatl War-Pride and Primal Forcemage to do his dirty work.
for those who don’t know how this works I’ll explain. First u need manna excel to get the creatures out there. Secondly as the war pride attacks it drops copies of itself for each creature ur opponent has. The war pride also has to be blocked if able so ones getting through while the others are blocked. But as those tokens hit the field they get +3/+3 from the force mage! That means ur swinging with X 6/6's! Most likely ur opponents gona be crying but wait there’s more. as an add in i suggested Herd Gnarr which gets +2/+2 whenever a creature comes into play, nice.
Lastly the deck could run some thing like Doubling Season for extra crush, tis the season (to be doubling ).
but this is just one idea. Could beat down be making a come back or have i been hit in the head one too many times?

not only that but there are alot of grave hater cards, but Extirpate is by far the best out of them all

singles are the way to go if uv got the dough to cough up. Although i do like the mistery that goes with geting a box. and if u r going to be geting a box any way go with Ravnica (the first set). Why? well thats easy, first off ur gona get Dule Lands (and every one loves dules), next it is highly unlikely that ur not gona get a birds, ur also probebly gona get a glare or a Hirerarc, chars in there to as well as most of the cards for the Bross Wins deck. overall i would go for that set if any but buyen singles saves u the aggravation of opening all those packs

i see what ur sayen and again sorry about the post but slivers were made for agrow but thats just me

as for stratigy ull need color and mana fix so splice in green for gemhide sliver, don't worry about the green Temporal Expance has got u covered, i would splice in eather red, for burn, or black, for kill spells, to get rid of their meaty creatures before they become a problem (or for Plage sliver eww). along those lines i would add in Necrotic Sliver, he seems controlly. finnaly i would find a way to mke surre that u have slivers to spear as u ar gona need them.
look all i'm tryen to say is that sliver control seems a little weak in this formate to me. but if u find something that works please post it because Slivers are #1 baby ya!!!!!

There is a deck that can be made from this entire muddle. My suggestion is a burn / poison deck
The deck should be white blue green, maybe with a splash of red
Use the gemhides for color fix and get the defense pump from the others to keep them from dieing
Then use the Phsyonic Sliver slivers ( now that ur creatures have a defense pump ) to deal massive damage without dieing and if u get them out the poison will just kill them faster

sorry for the confussion with this post, i'll try to fix it when i get home but if any one knows what i am tryen to say please help me out

look i was not realy pay-en attention when i wrote my last part to this thread, was in the middle of a realy boaring class and it was making me angery and i wrote mean things about Detritivore that i didn't really mean... i'm sorry Detritivore

now that i have read the card again i remember why it was any good at all. if its any consolation to u... i agree with u that it would deffently be a side board (mabey main deck depending on how u feel about it) against UR Tron

uuuuhhhh no. the fact of the mater is that detritivore is not realy that good beacuse it does not include basic lands

but thats beside the point. while UR tron is powerful, like most decks it does have its weakness and the only reason i suggest LD is because it FUN to watch some one playing it to writhe in pain as their decks perpose is lost completely

in fact the one thing i would watch out for in a U UR tron deck is that new confiscate with split second Take Possession, with a couple of copy enchantments (forget the name but its from Ravnica) it could get ugly quite fast

i think they got it right. if ur playing a deck like Dstorm or LD, even AngelFire, your most likly gona win. UR Tron is fast but not that fast because it is so dependent on those lands if u take out just one it will destroy their combo, for ex. if they have 3 plants 2towers and finaly get out factory, stone rain the factory and it does not mater how many peices of the puzzule they have.
as for add in cards, any LD or bounce is very effective (my personal favorate is LD like wild fire and then layen out a Terravore and/or anMagnivore, thats all ways fun mail me if u want to see the deck i built around LD)

so i posted this to get peoples veiws on this combo and to see if any one else had any cool ideas for her and her nifty ability
