So a friend who runs Teysa, as well as a person myself who has run her in the past have to ask: is there any reason why you are not running Secure the Wastes? It is a one mana make X tokens at instant speed and literally one of the best token generators we've seen in a long time. In response to wraths, make mana, then make an army before next phase change. In response to an opponent's single exile, exile all the creatures that make Teysa sad. It is one of the most powerful and borderline broken token generators we've seen in a long time - it's a shame you're not running it.

You bring up great points on the card. It's funny I never thought to apply it to teysa and yet now I'm just like 'yep'. I already like having those quick teysa-ability-feeding token producers like lingering souls, spectral procession etc. for when I'm still building up my token fodder early game and need to deal with something problematic ASAP. Gona make a spot for it for sure.

I've been bringing in 3 Torpor Orb from the sb as well and find it to be useful in quite a few match ups. I'm on the conditional GftT's right now as well because I found murderous cut to be a little inconsistent. I would gladly run terminate and call her a day.

With all the aggro (creatures everywhere) and all of the wild lands these days, has there been any recent testing to splashing a little blacker, perhaps losing the Spectral Procession and main-decking Smallpox.
Most testing has found that Smallpox is the equivalent of sleeving up fecal matter. It's just really bad. Most players have dropped most of their Processions in favor of Midnight Haunting and MB Ghost Quarters, although I haven't out of personal preference.

I'm at 2 mb Gq and the full 4 Spectral. The value is just too good and has been so relevant. I frequently -1 a spectral when sb-ing though.

A little out of left field as it hasnt been mentioned for quite a while but, i might mess around with something like hangarback walker as a ×2 with maybe a 2/2 Sorin SV/Ajani Goldmane split. Janky?...maybe probably...interesting enough to try... I'm willing to find out.

Aside from that, I feel like it's time for me to swap the bitterblossoms for raise the alarms. Been pretty slow lately and the early blockers/pressure will be relevant.

I am really surprised it doesn't see more play in BW tokens type decks honestly because of how strong it is with windbrisk heights and intangible virtue. It can just swing away for free as another windbrisk target, and 2/2 flying thopters are insane.

Windbrisk lets you cast it for free with X = 0, so no synergy there. Unless you like to play a tapped land to exile a card that eventually -when a condition is met- you will be able to play for W + tap the land and throw it to the graveyard with no value whatsoever.

It does have value with Virtue though, IF you get it killed.

I still believe it's a good card for tokens, though.

I play bw tokens and have actually thought about running it as a two-of. I'm going to try it out. I find my self chump blocking alot anyway and I would gladly throw him in front of an attacker. If he doesn't get exiled and sticks around long enough to get a few counters on him, awesome.

Surgical extraction seems like an awesome sideboard card in general. I get that's it's super reactive but, part one of our game plan is forced discard anyway. Seems like a card that will pull it's weight in other match ups as well. If I'm failing to miss a big draw back here please fill me in.

I have been mainboarding 2× timely and I'm never sad to see them. Most often I can cast it for both triggers and it provides another out when we're on the ropes. That being said, they are in the flex spot and I wouldn't be heat broken cutting them for something else.

I misread the card actually, my bad. I thought it was in your hand, exile OR graveyard. Disregard my earlier post.

I find it interesting that in the Bx Eldrazi primer, we're listed as one of their difficult matchups, although I can see us being well equipped to beat that deck I can also see it become more difficult as it goes beyond its infancy. I agree that we don't have anything in the spoilers that help us (yet?) I more so meant a green splash for existing cards to help us deal with spoilers that other decks may very well use to their advantage. Beast within and enchantment/artifact hate in green is strong along with the existing synergies that colour offers us. Admittedly, I'm getting preemptively worried about Hedron alignment.

I gota say, the green splash is looking more and more like the colour of choice if some of these new spoilers become a thing in the coming months.

I've only played against eldrazi processors once but he was running surgical extraction which hurts. Losing all your lingering souls or spectrals is tough.

I played the following list to 3-1 at FNM (3rd place), Note would have a 3rd Bitterblossom over Secure the wastes if I had one.

    Round 1 (1-0) Zoo
honestly I should have lost he miss played game 3 pretty badly and flat out punted, Game 1 was close but he got me game 2 I rolled with a great curve

    Round 2 (2-0) Infect
Not much to say here I won both games easily, game 2 Zealous on double elf was sweet

    Round 3 (2-1) BW Tokens
G1 he drew more spectrals than I did\
    G2 I curved out great, he didn't
G3 I drew awful he got Intagible and Zealous and I didn't

    Round 4 (3-1) Burn
    Stole game 1
Game 2 Forge Tender, Double firewalker nough said

Have your wraths been a useful sb inclusion? Im sure it's meta dependant but Ive put 2 in for my lgs modern tomorrow, I found myself wanting a couple after my matches last week...

I played against the B/x Eldrazi Processors deck last week and the match went to time at 1-1. My game win was pre-sb and in the second game I didn't see any of my sb cards which obviously would have helped. Zealous persecution does double duty killing their scions and getting us in for more damage along with all the spot removal we can get our hands on for their fatties. Their hand disruption and exiling can really make things ****y though. Sorry I don't have much more to contribute here.

EDIT: Scions can be sac'd in response obviously but I think they mostly want them for ramping into titans so if I'm killing them they often have nothing to spend the mana on by saccing in response.

Faithless looting is my main motivation for testing the red splash, then crumble to dust. I don't think Purphoros works for us.

Terminate is good too. I forgot to mention I run 2 Dragon Tempest main as well. Wear/Tear and Hide/Seek are good sideboard reasons as well. Both give a variety of options against artifacts/enchantments. Hide can deal with indestructible, and Seek gives a very good response to problematic cards in general plus gains you life.

Terminate would be excellent of course, along with awesome sb options red provides. My thoughts (completely speculative at this point) are that by running terminate I would be wanting to fetch a foundry as early as possible whereas, with looting, I might not need the card draw for atleast a few turns. I could be wrong of course, as the discard clause on looting is less of a draw back when we have more cards in hand and more choices for the bin. If you find that looting is an early game play then terminate fits in as well and we would want to fetch foundry right away. Just my thoughts anyway.
