The Fallen Angels are probably going to be changed to Avatar of Discord, the Wrecking Balls are being replace with Terminate. I've had some problems with tempo which leads me to believe that I need some card drawing...any suggestions?
I've made some recent additions to this deck Harmonize and Pollenbright wings. Hopefully it hasn't fully messed up my mojo. I'm thinking about putting two Autochthon Wurm in just to see how they do.
Land destruction isn't my usual cup of tea when it comes to magic. I consider myself a casual player much less prone to whacking opponents lands. Yet, I feel land destruction fits in with this deck. My only problem is finding a suitable finisher card. I was thinking about changing the Brute Force's to Fatal Frenzys and the Skirk Shamans to Excruciator. I'm open to any advice about this deck, and thanks for looking.
This isn't an original idea, so I can't take credit for it. The deck is based around the combo of having the Tidewater Minion enchanted with Freed from the Real and having an Izzet Boilerworks in play. Tap the boilerworks to add UR to your mana pool then tap the the Tidewater Minion to un-tap the boilerworks. Use one of the U to un-tap the Minion and you have one R floating, rise and repeat until you have a nice hefty amount of mana and hurl it at your opponent with a fireball (and hope you opponent doesn't Mana Drain it).
As for cards I want to add to this deck, I think Magnivore would make an awesome replacement for the Chronarch and add a win condition. I'd also like to replace the Volcanic Hammers with Electrolyze, and Counsel of the Soratami would be replaced with Invoke the Firemind,
just in case any fireballs get Cranial Extractioned or Extirpated.
I'm open to any other suggestions, and thanks for looking. Oh and one last thing, is there a particular thread or group that's all about Casual Lite decks and pauper games?
I really love this deck, I'm all about decks that are cheap to build and play but, are still alot of fun, I think this deck achieves that. It's a fairly simple premise, using artifact lands and cheap little artifacts to pump up my unblockable creatures equiped with Cranial Plating. It has a fair amount of weaknesses but, in the games I've played with it, it's held its own and put out a lot of damage. The only additions I can think of are a Chrome Mox and maybe some Looter il-Kors. Any suggestions are welcome, and thanks for reading.
It's been a bit huh? How's everyone? Good, I hope.
I have a question, perhaps some of you can answer this better than others, none the less, advice is needed. How does one approach people, who you don't know and have never met before. I mean, how does that happen. I guess I'm just that much of an introvert that I can't even talk to other people without feeling uncomfortable, which is understandable, at the same time, a little annoying though. I'm settled in a lot of my relationships and I feel comfortable to those people, or rather with or around those people but, ugh, I'm rranting now.
So help me fellow coffeehouse goers, help me break out of the shell.
This is something of a first for me, I've always liked green, and liked red, didn't play a lot of it, but I find this combination to be more than pleasing. This is a rough draft and in playtesting it I found that it has card drawing problems but, for the most part is plays smoothly. I think I am going to replace the Hunted Wumpus with Rumbling Slum, the Hunted Dragon with Stonebrow, Krosan Hero and take a Dust Corona and Evolution Charm to put in a Gruul War Plow.
Any suggestions are welcome, and thanks for looking.
I'm over my girlfriend's house, we just finsihed watching the Departed what a good movie that was. I've always liked Scorsese films, my favourite being Taxi Driver, that has to be one of my favourite movies of all time.
and just so this isn't me droning on about my movie taste, here's a deck I built yesterday, tell me what you think.
This isn't exactly an original deck idea, an old co-worker use to play a deck like this and it annoyed the hell out of me. Recently, I saw a deck almost exactly like this on mtgvortex, I accordingly made my own adjustments and you have the deck you see before you. If any one wants a run down on how it works, just ask, I think it is pretty straight forward.

Morning y'all, how's it going?
I am bored as, well as bored gets.
Time to make a new deck. Which brings me to my next point, trading. What are some of your (everyone's) experience with trading, I usually just by the cards I want or need so I'm a little more than skeptical when it comes to trading.
