Glad to hear your seeing success with the deck. It can be tricky. Some turns I find the correct play is land go. And hold some cantrips in hand for a better turn. Espically if you know you can have an explosive next turn.
I'm thinking of running a singleton Hallowed Fountain and having the Saheeli Cat combo in the sideboard. Am I being insane? I believe the traditional hate brought in for storm will completely miss the ball on saheeli cat, plus the ritual+cantrip shell will help me assemble and cast it asap. producing 6 mana means the combo, since I can cast the cat and untap a land to add 1 more for saheeli and combo off.
Interesting idea. I've been toying around with madcap combo in the main. Just one and the platinum guy. It make for quite interesting gifts piles. And can be cast on turn two. I think it's not bad.
Hey guys, been swapping around archtypes from Eldrazi Tron to Eldrazi and Taxes but i'm LOVING this deck! Just played a merfolk deck on the draw and turn 3'd lethal.
I've been toying around with the SB a lot and added Leylines of Sanctity recently, anyone else having good mileage with them? It houses the mirror matches and Jund/Abzan/Death's Shadow/Eldrazi & Taxes are such large portions of the meta, and it also slows down burn tremendously.
I've been running 3 SB.
I've been thinking about this card aswell what are the thoughts on leyline?
Nice report. It's strange in my meta. The spider and glen have won me games on their own. I think that is one of the decks strengths: to adapt to the meta. My meta has heaps of souls and blood moons in it. I'm thinking about putting some enchantment hate in my SB. I do have and EE though. Thanks again for your report.
I went 4-0 last night with jadoths list. It's a decent deck. A pretty high ceiling though as many plays can be made. I made a few changes in the side that worked out nicely.
Thanks my friend, I'm almost with Jadoth's shell on paper.
As soon as I complete it I will test the deck and adjust to my current meta.
Surely I will use your sideboard as a base and I liked the idea of Thragtusk instead of Ishkanah, Grafwidow, since the grave hate is high on the current meta, several times you will not be able to trigger it's delirium ability.
That's it, so when I have some results I will post here to discuss
Let's do the Sultai deck tier 1
I hear ya on this one. I've found ishkanah tonne pretty awesome. But. Without delirium she is bit lame. Maybe I agree swagtusk is decent against decks with grave hate. I also really like the grave titan he is a house.
Has anyone tried the new nissa? I'm not sure she would be any good.
So far the only matchups I've had trouble with are spell based combo, and Tron of course. This deck feels like it has game against everything, and it's so much fun. A bonus is that most people have no idea what I'm doing in paper!
Nice list! Would you mind sharing a sideboard guide for common decks?
This please! A SB guide would be awesome. I've just finished building the deck myself. The cards I really love are:
Jace VP
Traverse
Thought seize
Goyf
Tracker
Shriekmaw
And grave titan
I also like creeping tarpit
My list is basically Jadoths list. I really like the list above though. I think the deck has great potential and can really have game against the field.
ok looking at the jadoth shell, how are the match ups? specifically burn, death shadow, coco decks affinity and control? and from some experienced players how do you navigate these matches?
I would love to chat with Jadoth himself and watch some of his game play.
I'm not really a fan of Thassa here - in a deck where she'll never be a creature, I wouldn't pay 3 mana for either of those effects.
Even with 4 Traverse, 19 lands also seems a bit greedy.
Also, you have a delirium theme, but don't take advantage of it by having diverse singletons in the maindeck to Traverse for. I think Jadoth's shell is probably the best starting point if this is the style you're going for. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/569532#paper

Also the above post about changing up the SB to make their hate dead is really quite well done.
Any opinions on EE in the SB?
I definitely agree with this. Costing one mana can slow you down a turn. But I think the 3/1 split is definitely correct.
I put in an EE a C brutally and a surgical. EE was clutch in a match vs tokens.

Agree with above.
