What I don't like about him is how he dosen't show much green.

    gift....of the deity.

uh, yeah it costs a lot. but if you play it on ANY g/b creature, you win the game right there. especially in EEE, since there's no biting tether to return the favor.

ee! I'm not a Timmy, but you can't tell with this card~ I just love it, even though it probably won't win a tournament.

Yeah, I see this rolling over to Guile.dec, but so what? Not every matchup is perfect. The idea, by the way, is that you take all your opponent's offense and give him all your nonaggressive defense.

The nice thing about the expensive cards in precons is that it drives the price of the other rares in the precons down. Rat's Nest precon was pretty fun...

I agree with most of the things said above, although I think straight G/R is stronger than G/R/B could be. Runes of the Deus is absolutely freakin' nuts and without a doubt definitely worth the chance of a 2-for-1. If it sticks and you can attack with that creature, they will lose the game.

The Pili-Pila Power of Fire combination is ridiculously easy to pull in draft or sealed, but generally in draft you should let that go later, because people don't seem to value it much. Milling is not to be attempted without Oona, Faerie Goddess in Sealed.

Spawnwrithe + Mirrorweave + Fortify, you mean? Your guys aren't gonna trample over unless you give 'em some incentive.

Mirrorweave + Lurebound Scarecrow (set to a colour of which you control an enchantment) = One-sided Wrath of God right?

I like this a lot. You can even use Runed Halo as your enchantment of choice, or in a GW build with Cream of the Crop abuse.

After playing with all these cards, none of them even come close to Jaws. Plus, Red/Green is the nuts awesome in limited, with huge creatures with both wither and persist and awesome auras. Did you notice how freakin sweet Runes of the Deus is? One hand left me with Oversoul of the Deus or whatever and Shield of the Oversoul and a bunch of other good things, but I had 5 mana out with a 2{RG}{RG} guy enchanted with the Runes. I didn't have to play anything the rest of the game. Jaws of Stone is clearly the best pick for almost every reason imaginable.

by the way, gnarled is in general too slow.

I got it in sealed and it was awesome.

    good stuff.

make sure you put the cardinfo.dat in your sets folder, the other two in appr base folder. I made that mistake.

Jaws of Stone. It's first pick, so who cares about being "forced into red." Red is awesome. Second choice is Puca's Mischief, with third being the Gnarled. As I see it, Jaws gives you the greatest reward and if you let it go, the person to your left is gonna think red is wide open...and it shouldn't be. If you want to send that signal, move to Puca's, as blue will be underdrafted. I love the Shade effects, but it's too mana intensive and, just like Hungry, one wither will stop it permanently.
